Good music never dies not matter when it was produced.

I suppose you think the music of Beethoven, Mozart Chopin etc is crap because it was produced long ago.

Having been to 2 of their gigs in the last 8 years and hearing Roger Daltrey's voice deteriorate to a point where he couldn't hit the high notes, it's probably any smoke that he inhales. Saying that, they are both hypocrites cos it's well documented how much "#" these guys got through from the 60's to the 80's. I wish I'd not gone to the last gig, it spoilt my memory of what was a kick ass British rock band.

I see you are new to ATS.

One thing we do on here is give information about our individual likes and dislikes on the subject that's being discussed.

Try doing that and then maybe people wouldn't have to " suppose " things about you. Also it's called " manners "

As for The Who..............They stole the show at The Concert For New York. The tribute for the Emergency Services after 9/11. Not bad for a band who where in their 50's

one of the things i do is answer questions when asked.
instead of saying you suppose i dont like those classical artists, you could have asked.

Riiiggghhhtt.

Allergic.

It does happen. I had a bus-driver in high-school that was allergic. She let us smoke cigs on the bus but not pot. I remember her telling us the story of the first time she tried it and the resulting trip to the hospital.

I'm actually allergic to it too, but in the hayfever kind of way, not the hives and epi-pen kind of way, like she was.

If he really is deathly allergic to it, it's a very serious matter. People don't usually carry epi-pens if they're only allergic to illegal substances...

You obviously have no taste.
And these guys can do what they want. If they don't want to smell smoke, they don't have to. It's disconcerting that people have to get high to enjoy a concert anyway.

These guys made their name playing to people who were smoking pot at their concerts their whole career. For them to start whining about it now shows they are nothing but hypocrites.

Or tolerance to smoke.

I smoked cigarettes for a few years in my 20's, it is something I am not proud of as I generally find smoking disgusting. Since stopping, the smell of cigarette smoke makes me feel like vomiting and induces a coughing reaction. Even cigarette smoke on clothes is grotesque to my senses.

well then instead of assuming something about someone, you ask and you will get an answer.
either way

Why should they ?

They still sell out stadium concerts because people want to see them. They don't go around begging for an audience.

They have been around longer than most modern bands ever will be. They is no substitute for quality.

cause it has all been heard a million times
cause roger cant hit the notes like he used to
cause pete cant play like he used to
cause roger cries like a beehotch when he smells a little reefer smoke
cause they were only average at best when they were in their prime.

just personal reasons of mine
