We need help, we are looking for a decent Weather radar and Satellite site for the Great Lakes region. Something that covers the Detroit/Windsor/Port
Huron/ area. From day one on the internet the site we used was perfect and no complaints up till this past week they changed everything and their
Radar and Satellite maps are terrible. Here is the site classic.wunderground.com...
We know for sure help is on the way it's just a matter of time:-)
Your help would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance for all posts.
Regards, Iwinder
You can animate the radar. You can click on the link on top of the radar to be taken to a page that displays counties and other maps. Then you can
click on a county to get a localized forecast. It's the only weather site I use.

You can move to different radars using the arrows in the left hand column.
The Loop in the left column will make it live radar. You can select composite or base and there are a lot of other options for you to use. You can
change locations for the forecast by entering the zip core or city, st in the box in the top left of the forecast page.

Yeah, NWS and Intellicast are the way to go. A couple others already mentioned those sites. I primarily use those. Occasionally, I skip the radars and
go for the text. Sometimes that's just easier to read.
Thanks to all posters for taking the time to share their informative sites with us, much appreciated indeed.
Any more additions are most welcome..
Time is short right now I will return later.

Glad to help. I've been using Intellicast since around 2000, maybe even a little bit earlier. It's gone through a few changes, but overall stayed
very user friendly. They don't muck around and try and hype things as many of the other weather services do.
