Revolution is the dark elites worst nightmare, on the other hand civil war is their wet dream.

With the embers of racism for the most part all but extinguished in America, self-serving elitists have taken it upon themselves to employ agent provocateurs in an effort to fan the flames of racial discord.

If you could only hear these greedy self-serving dirtbags now, "divide and conquer baby, divide and conquer!"

Okay, for sake of argument let's say there is an absolute rebellion of say 33 million Americans (10% of the population) taking up arms to overthrow the current government and reestablish the true Constitutional Republic that we should have. And let's say 100% of our military and police refuse to fight against the people. I know, fantastic odds but stay with me for the big question.

Would there be a super realistic video game quickly released called Drone Strike for the kids to play? I am going to say, you betcha.

LMFAO !!

Make sure you incorporate that thought into your résumé.

Member applause for the most chilling doom porn posted in a good long while.

Drones land on things called BASES and these bases are poorly defended without any armor, only personel EASY to penetrate and destroy ...if you're trained for infiltration in the first place.
We also have the .50 cal rifle. it will punch a hole through pretty much anything that flies accept an A10 from below.
AIR would die fast if they would use it.
Police armor would be taken care of by thermite which is rust and pwodered aluminum.

Americans are too lethargic to care enough to form a rebellion.

That being said, income equaility was NEVER this bad at any time in history without class warfare of some kind.

France 1789, Russia 1917, and many other cases of revolution were driven by income inequality that was nowhere near as bad as USA 2015.

Unfortunately, the average American has absolutely no idea as to what Income Inequality is.

Americans are kept in a constant state of fear by media outlets such as FOX NEWS. They just released a study that more than 60% of Americans think (a) there's a terrorist living in their hometown (b) the White House is incompetent and (c) the country is still in recession.

Keeping the country divided and terrified of having a conversation is the elite's way of ensuring that no one gets together and actually has a decent discussion and figures out what's going on.

The elites, along with the NRA, have convinced everyone to go out and buy massive amounts of guns and ammunition, to make people think if they have a disagreement with their neighbor they'll be shot. And would probably be right.

(Don't get me wrong when I say this, I 100% believe the minimum wage and social services are too low at the moment)

But riddle me this...

If "Most" of the American public is "too lethargic" to rebel doesn't that mean in the end "too comfortable"

There is a difference between "now" and the 1700's it doesn't take a "fortune" to live really well even some "poor" people are basically in comfort zones...

Think about it, if we go even a little more socialist, the poor have food (from all over the world, like a King in the 17th century, pineapples from Hawaii, Mussles from New Zealand, Lobster and Steak) Just from a few hundred in food stamps, a 200.00 laptop, Cable, heat, indoor plumbing, healthcare and maybe a stipend of cash and rent assistance...

I'd say we wax even a bit more European Socialist... No One will rebel ever...

Drop 2000 a month into the lowest 25%, enough money for some booze and weed on top of the rest I don't know income inequity applies anymore... many people will remain as you say "lethargic" income disparity becomes "why don't I get a boat" people rebel when there lives are threatened, technology makes the basics "easy" in 20 years people will have 3-d printers with vouchers for material even for everyday items... it may become very Cheap" to pacify the poor...

AND then some asshat shows up TO ABUSE it,as has happended in socialist countries the world over.
ANY system that reduces it's population to the lowest denominator won't work in a freethinking society.
WE have PROGRAMS and parts of our culture,we just need the laws WE ALREADY have enforced.

That's the Nut to crack isn't it...

It's a nearly perfect system in a modern world to control poverty, but "some" people get powerful and steer the ship inevitably to war...

Americans are too lethargic to care enough to form a rebellion.

Take away the food and toilet paper from the grocery stores.
Take away their smart phones.

Then say that.

Ya know whats funny about this, you could actually get a good percentage of americans to revolt if you just gave them one of the following.

1. Alien weaponry
2. Superpowers
3. Magic
4. Cybernetic/Bio Enhancements.
5. Giant Robots.

So yea.....get on it ATS and this # will happen....

Look, despite all the religious bull# that gets slung around here I would like to think we can all agree that comic books are American Mythology. Our gods are Batman, Superman, Spiderman, The Joker. More than God himself we value and idolize these animated figures as representations of who we are and what we can accomplish.

Furthermore Our Gods literally exist in a world that is filled with all the crazy bull# that "doesnt exist"

You want this to happen, you need to make the dream come true. That simple.

Rebellion is already here, my friends.

People everywhere are waking up to the difference between what they want and what they need, and consciously choosing to spend their time and money on getting what they need. And being content with that.

Whoa, Nelly!!!

Come join our conspiracy. Here's how:

Grow some of your own food. You own the supply chain. You become less dependent on outside forces. You get more nutrition for your calorie intake. You expend calories doing the work. You gain knowledge and experience that will be handy when the SHTF. No one can take the knowledge and experience away from you, no matter what they try.

Know your wife or hubby or friend likes a certain food? Offer to make some of that. (If you have to learn how, even better for you).

Purge meaningless stuff, and don't replace it with more meaningless stuff. You have to have clothes and food and shelter. Light and heat and cooling. And water. Do you have to have enough clothing to wear a different outfit every day for 2 months? Does it have to be new, or is clean and in good repair good enough? Do you really need 25 pairs of shoes? Do you really need the latest gadget. or is the one you have already working well enough? How many specialized kitchen appliances do you need, vs. how many are just nice to have?

Look for a need in your neighborhood, and offer to fill it. There are a million little needs out there. Knock on your neighbor's door on the way out to the grocery and offer to pick up a few necessities. Do you like to dig in the dirt? Offer a few minutes' labor to a neighbor who has weeds in the flowerbeds. Offer some produce from your garden (see above). Offer a cup of coffee or a glass of lemonade and a chat. Really listen for a few minutes. Offer to help the kid on your block with homework/baseball/learning to ride a bike/any other hobby or pursuit.

Look for a need at your local elementary school and fill it. Plan a day off your own toils and let your school secretary know you will have a block of time that day. and you're willing to volunteer for... whatever suits you. Help a kindergartner practice their sight words. Help a first grader by reading to them then letting them practice reading to you. Ask the secretary if they need some help filing or stapling or mailing. Those poor folks get no respect and are hopping from sunup to sundown. Ask who the PTO leader is, and let them know you can volunteer for this or that.

Ask a local church or non profit if you can volunteer some time with them.

Learn about something that is interesting to you. Then offer to speak to the local scout troop/assisted living community/senior center about it. No fancy speaking skills required, just a plan about what you want to say. Offer to read about that subject to anyone who can't (at the moment) read for themselves. Can't be there during visiting hours? Record yourself reading articles from the latest issue of your favorite magazine, and send the recordings to the group or institution... they can listen as their time allows.

Are you a musician? Offer to play a little at the senior center/hospital/nursing home. Then chat with a few of the audience. They have a million stories to tell, and will be happy to have you there. You'll get as much (or more) out of it than your audience.

You already have the power to revolt. Rise up and use it.

No need to take food and toilet paper and smartphones if you simply cut the power that runs the fridge and the water pump that flushes the toilet and recharges the smartphone.

All that is needed is the flip of a switch to start something like a revolt, but in reality it would just cause people to have to stop and entertain and take care of themselves or look for something to do with their time they waste so much of on artificial entertainment provided by others for a profit.

You wanna lash out?, disconnect and utilize the available diversions and luxuries as little as possible and watch the corporations cry by buying back shares with money stolen from you to float this already failing and artificial economy that runs on nothing of true substance.

It does appear that the 'writing is on the wall',especially when the media is fanning all sides of the fire. It's not a matter of 'if', but 'when'.

Either way, I want no part of it. Revolutions are just a tactic for recruiting useful idiots.

The media. More like some scripted contrivance Hollywood style. No one is taking folks that burn out their own as serious. And all this rehash of the same crap we have been hearing for decades now.......toss more money at the thing. Its like mafia intimidation and the hustle never ends.

The more informed the public becomes the more they will rebel against government rule. The are not and never where intended to "Rule" us. They now along with their billionaire masters fully think they are there to "Rule" us. They say outright lies without blinking and eye and even worse without remorse. They create laws to control us more and more. Heck I am nervous about typing my thoughts here. Never felt that way 20 years ago.

Once the public understands and knows that there is no honor in government officials and that they will do and say anything to appease them and get there votes we might see change. Maybe people will go vote or maybe they will grab pitchforks.

I think as long as the government can maintain the lies and keep people believing that the US will continue on peacefully for a time, but that time is running shorter and shorter.

Moral imperative to revolt. Yea sure thing man.

This guy is full of crap. Trouble maker and instigator.

See what he says about the collapse of liberalism? No one there anymore for the unions, middle class and poor? What he means is that the liberal, progressive takeover of democratic party has failed to bring in real "democracy" or the establishment of a Marxist government......so now we have to resort to "direct action".

And now the middle class is in his mix? They have to widen the net there, just the poor is not enough.. They have never given a sh*t about the middle class. Middle class is taking the greater screwing from liberal legislation and policy as it is anywhere else. Middle class will always toss the liberal overboard when the ship is taking water. In fact truth be told the middle class has done more for the poor than anybody. Not to many rich and liberal talking heads have to get up and go to work while their next door is on some sort of support and sets on the ass all day while his middle class taxes is supporting the other guys kids. Thats the middle class that has to actually see what goes on in there face day in and day out not sh*t talkers like this guy.

Put a dunce cap on this ass and set him in the corner while I wipe my azz on his prize certificate.

This topic comes up from time to time. Before going further, I should say that I am not particularly impressed with Chris Hedges. There is no journalist working today, whose work appears in the mainstream media, who is not operating within agreed upon parameters of discussion, the most important of which is that the US government did not engineer 9/11.

Having said that, I do think serious civil unrest, Lexington and Concord style, is possible in America. It's happened before. Waco was very close to something like that. It becomes a question of how big a spark is required to ignite the tinder available.

I think a substantial disturbance would produce martial law after the initial crack down by the military or militarized police. That in itself could be the precursor to further disruptive incidents, blow back, and perhaps to a full blown guerrilla insurgency, if serious overreaching took place on the part of the government. If this became widespread, I think the US would move directly into a military dictatorship while retaining the cosmetic appearance of being a democracy.

It wouldn't be like Nazi Germany or like Soviet Russia, but something American, a "smiley face" hybrid of the two older systems. It's political ambiance and environment of discussion in the media would probably be a lot like a Republican National Convention. It would be very "rah rah" and vigorous and contemptuous of the riff raff that have caused so much trouble in the country (old style American small "d" democrats with a social conscience and ethnic minorities).

America has all the tools in the box to create a repressive police state right now. Like the one Hitler created, it would be all legally legislated. Americans gladly gave up their rights during the administration of George W. Bush/Barack Obama.

America is so militarized now that no "1776 American Revolution" style revolution could hope to succeed. Freedom loving democrats in the United States have painted themselves into a technologized corner of repressive "security" from which the chance of escape is almost non-existent.

America's and the world's hopes, I'm afraid, lie in the development of commonsense among the 1ers. They have to stop taking so much out of the economy. They have to recycle wealth in America, if the country is to be preserved. They have to develop a social conscience, to realize that the value of a "society" is not negligible and that the vigor and health of a society contributes to their own vigor and health. Maybe we in this forum can help them to see that point.

With the embers of racism for the most part all but extinguished in America

Where the Hell have you been? The America I live in is racist as all hell and shows no chance of changing anytime soon. Yeah, we hear a lot of lip service to equality, but it's just that, lip service. Ask around and see how many white people you know want their son or daughter to marry a black person, or Mexican or any other color than their own. They'll throw out a lot of excuses, but it'll come down to one answer...."No".
