If God is God then why did he have to rest on the 7th day?
Second line.....

the 7 days are not 7 generations of Stars... the number is supposed to represent the 7 Ages 5 have passed, 1 is and the 7th is the next (final Age of man & Earth)

the ancient mystics who crafted the Genesis story, used other creation myths from around the world as models... for instance the Hindu, the Hopi, the Sumerians--all had world views that Earth has went through several 'worlds' or 'Ages'
the Genesis account is putting out the idea that all of Earths history and future is broken into 7 parts/'Ages',
.... so the creation week includes a still future 7th Day which comes about after the cosmic battle between good-&-evil and the Millennial Kingdom is established for 1,000 years.

But the Genesis God-creator can interweave past-present-future so that the 7th day-of-rest was the final Day of the Creation week (which is still in the process of transpiring)

this 3rd generation star we call SOL is a white dwarf star and if it were a 7th generation thing it would likely be more like a massive Magnet Star or even become a Black Hole instead of what a 3rd generation star that has an abundance of heavy elements in it's solar system of 5 inner rocky planets & asteroid belt and 4 bigger, gas planets in the outer realms of the solar system... no, the '7' signifies something other than a string of 7 unique Suns

thus, my attempt to relate the mystical aspect of the Genesis account, because in those ancient days, the "mystical" was the ancients' way to connect/explain the world (which included the Quantum worlds which acted on our reality)

I covered the 'rest day' here... as it is about to happen (soon), if these are indeed the End-Times' era,
then the Millennia Kingdom will soon be set up for the 1,000 years

...Thus completing the 'creation week' as the time-line model for Earth Ages where God rests on the 7th Day in the Genesis account
(God did not actually rest then, in that ancient past... God created the 7 day model with the 7th day of rest as both a model for life and as a prophetic time-line about Earth Ages
