I didn't vote for Obama because I knew what he was going to do, but no this is not the change most of us wanted.

I can only speak for myself, but I was wishing for a more socialist approach in which we took care of healthcare and many other issues.

Oh well. We lost out.

Obviously it's not. Although I guess it's a change. Too bad it's in the wrong direction. As for the Hope, I think we all just Hope to make it out alive at this point.

The soviet union was propped up financially and supplied weapons tech, by american taxpayers who paid for the research and then the info was shared with the soviets.

That, like it or not works both ways, technology in space, for instance has been shared for a long time...funny enough probably an essential silent agreement. To understand that, you need to go back and look at who did what and when yourself.

As for the TPP, it's no longer secret, Wikileaks had it online more than a year ago..copy and paste the link then close the gap

https: //__._/tpp-enviro/pressrelease.html

As for intellectual property sharing to abroad by the corps who own it, (nothing to do with the taxpayer or government per se) that's been old hat for some time now, and that's been more responsible for jobs losses at home in the recent past.

The thing we need to be thinking about and planning for is what's next though. Complaining about Obama is only shooting ourselves in the foot at this point when we're already losing the race.

Because anyone who thinks it would be different if any of the GOP was president is insane. I know it's fun to thrash on Obama, after all it's all anyone has been doing since he took office anyway. But perhaps it's time to pack it up now and actually plan on what to do next. Because nobody on the Republican ticket is going to save us from this either. If you think you can all just wait it out until Obama is out you're kidding yourselves.

I agree with the stance on issues rather than party.

I see both parties as corrupt, I just see the Dems as corrupt bald faced liars.

I do agree with their stance on reproductive rights and most science based issues however which means I'm never going to be a Republican.

The biggest problem is an actual "person" will never again win an election in this country. It takes tens of millions to just win state elections and hundreds of millions to win national elections. Money like that makes a person beholden to someone else.

I wonder if a "go fund me" campaign would be legal
It would scare the bejesus out of the swamp dwellers that's for sure.

The game resumes. IMO the deal had to be done while there is a democrat president. If the republicans have congress and the prez, they will make the deal and it will be a WHOLE lot worse for the worker.

no i'm completely serious. the textbook definition of marxism leaves out the part where capitalists elsewhere, keep your marxism going and benefit from it, but it doesn't trickle down. same thing as monarchy without the "divine right" stuff (still royals benefitting from it, they just don't tell you who is on the payroll).

I agree Willtell, the problem is that we don't live in that world. The 2 party system was created to make it impossible to vote on issues alone. They want people to be part of cookie cutter team R or D. That way there is nobody to hold accountable. It truly is the perfect system to keep people focused on BS.

Just switch party affiliation between presidents every few election cycles, along with control of the house/senate, and nothing important will get done. When people get upset about nothing politicians promised getting done, they can blame the other party for stopping it and vice versa. This cycle just goes on and on and on.

The amount of back and forth BS between parties is so vast and boring that even the most intelligent and focused among us say F it and quit caring about what goes on.

being part of team R is going to end badly. the D party has the R party slated for annihilation. The R party is pretending that it's not really going to happen, while they rake in large amounts of cash, kinda like caesar fiddling while rome burns.

Then explain why it has been the capitalist nations (US) that has been screwed and it's the "socialist nations" (China) profiting, yet we are the ones failing?

It makes no sense whatsoever.

did you watch the video? the premise is, wall street, owned and operated by globalists who set up the federal reserve / central bank in our country and the IRS, are spreading the central bank system that they plan to use to bankrupt the world. then they will crash the system causing people all over the world to demand their governments take care of them, they will actually beg for communism.

consider: joseph stalin killed 50 million (that's 50,000,000) of his own people, yet we didn't hear a thing about it in the west for nearly 80 years, although we heard all about hitler. why do you suppose that is?

What video?

And the reason we didn't hear about Stalin killing 50 million people is because he didn't. Those numbers are used in propaganda to perpetuate lies, but do not disclose the circumstances in which most of those people died, which were outside of Stalin's control.

The same propaganda was used against Mao during the great leap forward.

oh don't worry, there won't be "propaganda' very much longer, since wall street funded communism in the first place. they are just trying to work out the particulars on how to make it global. don't frown on the greedy bastards, they are your supporters. just don't be surprised when you find out that what they are essentially doing is stealing everyone else's stuff so that nobody but them has anything. THEN you'll get your communist world government, and, if you don't mind me saying so, you can stuff my wee bit of material wealth ( a grand total of 40 dollars) in your ear.

They have to differentiate themselves from Obama and his policies.

Isn't it sad that is the latest strategical trend with politicians. They are so awful that in their last year in office their own party has to dissociate themselves from their own sponsored candidate.

It was done with Bush and now looks like its being done with Obama as you state.

The saddest part is that people have short term memory and will fight for their next shiny DNC or GOP selected candidate mold and the cycle restarts again.

Squirrel ......

Wall street did not fund communism. What they did is fund capitalism in places like China and sold it as communism to perpetuate the propaganda divide they pushed at the ignorant here in the US.

Why do you think they are making all of our products in Asia and selling it to us? Because capitalism has spread far and wide, creating sweatshops and poverty.

When you can actually find a communist nation on this planet, let me know.

they funded it in china cause they want to bring down the entire world, in debt to them as the communist leaders. how are they going to steal china's vast amount of wealth without it? just cause china has a communist government, doesn't mean the globalists are the ones running it. they want to be in charge. they don't want any independently wealthy nations. everyone has to be equally poor. misery loves company. class warfare for the win.
