Remember the weird State Farm commercials? Today is May 11th, what do we know?

Everyone will remember the thread about the State Farm commercial that was "interrupted" with a message about May 11th and a hashtag.

Well, today is the day and all I can find is this ATS thread about Isis claiming some sort of hacking attempt to go down at 2pm. Thread.

Did anyone discover what the commercial was alluding to?

Didn't they recently revise the commericial showing a date of May 19th? Maybe whatever it was had the schedule changed?

It interrupted some show I was watching and I looked it up last week knowing I was getting taken on some marketing scheme. Based upon the "retweets" and "likes" I think this will be a huge flop. Good.

Not exactly. The supposed ISIS hack goes down at 2 EST. StateFarm lists 2 CST.

Looks like 4 more hours wait by my watch. I hate giving into these things. When they first started they tricked me every time. Always some game coming out or some movie..

Marketing ploy....State Farm is working it on their twitter feed. Nothing major will come of this....simply marketing.

I saw it yesterday as well. A couple of "tells" in it.

1. Mine was fuzzy and unprofessional looking
2. Use of the word EARTHLINGS
3. The font used to type it

Well, I know that I pay to much for insurance -- the friendly retro lady and the lizard can't seem to solve that problem.

I seriously doubt aliens would use an insurance company to announce their arrival. Really.
