If you already fell threatened by a picture(a funny one, i'd like to add), you maybe should start shoveling yourself a nice hole, because it doesn't look like rainbow, fluffy unicorn world will arrive any time soon....
And i kind of bet you feel offended by my comment so:
on topic:

There are lately riots everywhere and i think it is a necessary progress, we need more participation in the democratic process then just electing which arse-head will take us the freedom to choose for the next few years. This is all going to get a lot wilder and more violent, because it is part of an almost natural political and ideological, democratic evolution. There can be no democracy without anarchy, because what anarchy really means is: I am in charge of my own decissions and i am the one suffering the consequences.
Now we have "them" and you can't hold them acountable for the mess they turn your life into.

Threatening violence to other members isn't ''funny''.

ATS has T&C and this is a civilized nation. The way to get things done constructively is through being civilized. The fact that the majority of the UK voted Conservative, speaks volumes for the national mindset on the sort of thugs spouting Braveheart style threats. It is the United Kingdom not ape watch.

If you want violence, maybe joining ISIS is where your future is.

It was a picture of a gun and a personal threat.

Do you not agree to civility? How about T&C? How about if it was your daughter / mother being threatened by a thug?

Anti-Tory graffiti was also daubed on a war memorial honouring the women of WWII in what the Royal British Legion called a "senseless act". Senseless act? It's the act of scumbag c#s. Pathetic wankers.

Not as sensless as the way we treat our veterans upon there return..

My dismay with how the system works goes way beyond politics. I'm annoyed because there are very serious things happening which the government are either complicit in or directly responsible for. One of these days the truth will come out about what the hidden faces controlling power have been doing, and it won't be pretty. If the corruption continues as it has, let alone gets worse, then the Poll Tax Riots will be made to look like a picnic.

This protest is not the revolution we are hoping for.

Hope in one Hand, then crap in the other and see which one fills up faster.
( mod's and anyone else concerned that is an old funny saying from my area)

A revolution would be pretty difficult without guns.

Edit; I read a little more of the whole thread and it got ugly quick. So I'm backing out of this one and I will not reply.

Once again Zero Media coverage...maybe that fact it passed off peacefully doesn't fit their agenda.

The videos have been doing the rounds on Facebook; not counting the idiots defacing the memorial and the colourful language it looked like the last one was mostly peaceful until the snatch squads moved in.

I'm guessing the reason so much media emphasis was placed on the monument and spinning it into a 'riot' is because it was an unsanctioned demo right on the steps of Downing Street. I think this is probably one of the few logical places people should protest and I wouldn't care if it was tories protesting a labour leader or even the EDL who I utterly despise that were doing it. Our forefathers gave their lives for us to have the right to protest, permission or not.

I wonder how they'll spin it when it's not just "socialists and anarchists" or other "crazy lefties" but the teachers, students, nurses, veterans and police that hold this country together.
