It wasn't a "riot" and it didn't "erupt".

It was a few hundred people at an Anti Austerity protest.

In Thatcher times. there were 500,000 people rioting in London. I was there shopping and got caught up in it.

.

Yeah...really...Half a Million you say...you sure it wasn't one of your past lives you are thinking of here...France maybe in the late seventeen hundreds.. lol

en.wikipedia.org...

www.independent.co.uk...#

"A year later, Police reported the crowd at 200,000".

Many people at the time said it was nearer 500,000.

Do you not read the news?

www.telegraph.co.uk...

He is expected to oversee further devolution of tax-raising powers to Scotland and reforms to give English MPs the final say over matters affecting England, so-called "English votes for English laws".

Mr Cameron has made these reforms central to his re-election programme, while Mr Grayling has previously been a passionate champion of strengthening the powers of English MPs.

Among Mr Gove’s first tasks will be to oversee the Bill to scrap Labour’s Human Rights Act and replace it with a British Bill of Rights, a reform which Mr Cameron has promised to announce in his first Queen’s Speech, expected on May 27.

The reform, promised in the Tory manifesto, is designed to ensure that the European Court of Human Rights will no longer be able to overrule judgments in British courts and will make “the Supreme Court supreme”.

scrap the human rights act .

Good lord, Help this one.

I hope you or anyone you know ever find themselves needing to resort to going to court for there Human Rights to be observed, because under the Tories, you wont have any...they have taken away not only your Human rights, but the means in which to fight for them..Just like the Nazis did...remember them.

I tell you what, I see it in this thread and many others in the forum..F###ing Naziism is alive and well in the UK...

"All that is needed for the forces of evil to triumph is for enough good men to do nothing"...not on my watch.

It was anywhere up to 250,000 people and it was in 1990, over Thatchers introduction of poll tax.

ETA: I had started this reply straight after your post I am replying to.....I foolishly went and put the kettle on before posting, looks like others beat me to it, lol

So what are you saying there?
I get the meme, but what particular message are you trying to convey?
I prefer actual discussion instead of silly vague graphics, but it would appear we differ in that regard.

Let's hope these little activists get a little resistance from the locals who decided enough is enough and collectively roll up their shirt sleeves and sort them out

Among the objects thrown at police were traffic cones and smoke bombs.

Over revolution will be with traffic cones

Sounds like a business opportunity. Say... care to buy some traffic cones?

Fixed.
I actually quite like that crazy old tune, but straight question, do you support England or anyone else burning through public riot and violence?
Just to be clear, you know.

in some instances yes, Violence can bring even the most powerful to the negotiating table. I draw no line between a guy on the street torching a building to make a point than i do a government flattening a city with billions of £££ of guided missiles to make a point...do you?

Readers of a sensitive disposition may want to sit down before scrolling through the rest of this story. Somebody has written the ‘F’ word on a war memorial in London, it has been reported.
The shocking incident has left police and protesters badly shaken.
Prime Minister David Cameron said: “We were just about to announce that we’d rigged the election, when we got the news that somebody had spray painted a rude word onto a war memorial. Obviously this changes everything,” The protestors are demonstrating against austerity measures, which include cutting £12 billion from welfare expenditure. Because the last thing that poor people need is more money.
“It makes me ashamed to be an anti-austerity protester,” Said one protester that did not want to be identified. “I think we should have a minutes silence every single day for a year, as a mark of respect for the fact that somebody has written f### on a statue. I’m only glad they didn’t draw a cock and balls on it as well,”

Yeah, I see similarities between burning a building in my community because I disagree with who the community voted for, and governments bombing buildings because they don't agree with the government which controls the innocent people.
Innocent people do not deserve to have their buildings either torched in a riot or bombed by remote control.

Your stance is no better than government violence. Both are equally wrong as far as I see it.

Your preference of SNP are Nationalist Socialists, just like the Nazi party.

Also, the British Bill of Rights is to protect the UK from terrorism and economic abuse, it isn't a waiver of general human rights.

Yeah, but who's yer money on to see the inside of a jail cell for said actions....you cant even compare a burned building to a country destroyed....no way way man.

I never voted for a Political party who took this country into two illegal Wars or voted to keep 300 nuclear missiles...did you?

They hold not one bit of power over me. and i'll never respect them in any way.

Away and Bile yer Heid...Actions make you a Fascist uncaring evil bastard, not labels. Just have a Look at what actions the Tory party have been doing these past five years, have a look at their plans for the future...

Care to comment on my quote from a news source above...?

No, I last voted in 1997 (Lib-dem) then UKIP last week.

They don't need your respect, they have a majority in Parliament. Those 56 SNP MP's are toothless, and all manner of changes will be forced over you if you like it or not.
See ya Barnett Formula lol, see ya Scot's MP's voting on English only issues lol, see ya Scotland in the not too distant future lol.
