Above Top Secret link on Unexplainable.com

The Sumerian Stargates Clipped from www.abovetopsecret.com... The Annunaki (The Gods From The Sky) placed a Stargate on our planet for instantaneous transportation of humans to communicate peacefully with other worlds

At least they gave citation for the link. We do that here, but was surprised to see them doing it elsewhere. It was linked from a linked post that in the post, they didn't even have their own cited references.

They gave proper citation to a post on ATS, but that post didn't have any attribution in it. Should we then push for something that says we have to provide links or else say it is our opinion?

Now there are people linking to unreferenced posts on ATS and they are presenting it as fact. Weren't we always supposed to show where we get our information? The ATS post was in 2004.

The world of ideas is quite strange and powerful with a host of new issues as the technology builds around us.

For ATS, providing links can be a good habit when used appropriately to support or provide further information on a topic. It can also be overdone at times, but it is all part of the learning process. As a habit, it is optional and not everyone will do it. As for those that link of it and use it to support their own ideas, it has been going on since communication began.

Someday your opinion to can become referenced as factual supporting evidence - you just have to wait 11 years or so!
