I don't give a rats but about his skin color...

He lied multiple times, he increased conflicts he was supposed to get us out of..

Instead of leading the charge on Obama care making sure it helped people, he let congress handle the details so... Lobbyists wrote it.

He seems to not know how to handle conflict, under pressure... He either runs away or takes the easiest path.

And no I didn't care for bush Jr after 2 years, either...

He has continued almost everything bush did that drove liberals crazy, yet it seems ok he is still doing it.

okay i have some nice things to say about him:

under his watch we did get some transparency in the guise of various whistle blowers, who were perhaps a bit more forthcoming than prior whistleblowers.

he did encourage the black community to think of the future of their children, afterall, if he can do it, so can they.

he reprimanded those who were destroying their own neighborhoods

he proved that many socialist platforms are held up by taxing capitalists (proving socialism is incapable of standing alone), a thing most socialists in the usa either didn't know or were ignoring.

he acted humbly, even in the face of his title and stature, by bowing to dignitaries all over the world.

he made the queen of england and her pretentious fellows, look like pretentious fellows, when in an attempt to be gracious he had inadvertently misplaced in the timeline of pretentiousness, they all freaked out as if he had just farted at the dinner table.

Believe it or not, there are differences in the two parties. While generally small, it does make a difference. Gay marriage is a good example of one of those polarizing issues where it matters if a democrat or republican is in charge.

I think that these differences are just to throw everyone off. They aren't really important to the politicians.
Take the whole gay thing for an example. You have fire and brimstone religious right Republican politicians caught trying to have gay sex in a public restroom. The Republicans go on about cutting spending.... when have they actually cut spending??
You have a black Democrat US Congressman fighting for his downtrodden black constituents in Baltimore that are being oppressed. He is black, the mayor is black, the police chief is black, the State's Attorney is black, the President of the City Council is black, 9 of 14 remaining seats on the City Council are black people.... poor downtrodden black citizens... who is trampling their rights? Do you think they actually give a crap about gay rights?

It is all theater on both sides of the aisle.

He's still got 2 more years! Give him time......those brown shirts are in the making! Do you have any idea the effect this administration has had on brainwashing our youth! Like i said give him the time he needs!

Obama is now on cruise control. He isn't going to do much of anything until his term is over. If you believe he is still pushing for "brown shirts" then you have been brainwashed by the propaganda machine that opposes him.

He took many privileges against what the majority wanted....Illegal immigration for starters!

Which president hasn't? Many presidents before him set the precedence for him to take action on things such as immigration.

What about secretly negotiating behind our backs with Iran! They love him! And now they are a couple of months from a Nuclear Weapon!

Really? How do you know that? They have been saying Iran was months away from a nuke for at least the last 20 years. Do you have some inside source or are you parroting what you have heard from the neoconservative propaganda?

Also, we should negotiate with Iran. We should be friendly and trade with them. Just because the idiots of the world cry for sanctions, war and are afraid that every ME nation is full of terrorists does not mean we cannot be civilized and talk to people without pointing a gun in their faces.

Obama is too much of a Narcissist and Power monger to be anyone's tool for too long

He is someone's tool and will continue to do as he is told until he is out of office, No amount of narcissism will change that.

He, like you loves to pass the blame!

That's politics. No one likes to take the blame. But why do you assume that I like to pass the blame? Isn't that an ignorant and presumptuous statement?

My post simply highlighted that Obama was used by his opposition to create a mass of brainwashed idiots that made complete fools of themselves focusing on things Obama was not even trying to do (like gun control) or things that were simply stupid (birth certificate).

While Obama was not all that great for this country, what came from the hard Right was/is far more detrimental to the health of this nation. I'll even go one further and say that since 9/11 the Right-wing of politics in this country has gone full-retard.

If all you want to do is talk about things he hasn't done to your satifaction, then rave on. Did you get that upset when previous Presidents supposedly lied to us? How about Bush and his gang lying us into a war? You fine with that? As far as your concerned, has Obama done ANYTHING at all that isn't outragous/anti-American/not treason worthy? You don't like that guy, that's clear. That's your right. But, like every sigle President this country has ever had, Obama has done both good and bad, and some things that have yet to be determined. As I said before, compared to last guy, Obama's Albert Einstein. And, apperently, most of the country agrees with me - he got elected twice, you know? I'll bet that if could, he'd win a 3rd term too - have you seen what the GOP has to offer? You can't honestly feeel good about any of those clowns, right? Bernie Sanders - 2016!

I am glad you had a lovely mothers day.

All I asked was for you to back up the claim that no one in the world respects or trust barry.

I can see that won't happen at this point.

Hey, sorry for my decent into sarcasm last night. I was in a great mood, feeling 'no pain' at the time...and thinking and writing about how badly Obama has butchered U.S. foreign policy and lowered America's profile in the world tends to make me sad sometimes.

Anyhow, to my knowledge, you've always been an intelligent and conscientious poster...and generally appear sincere and well-mannered in your responses and queries...so you deserved a much less flippant response than the one I was able to give you last night.
For that, I apologize, my friend.

Even a cursory search of the Internet shows me that it is replete with examples of articles, blogs and news reports touting the lack of international trust and respect Obama garners from foreign governments all over the world...

And...it would have been a simple enough matter for me to quote and link many for you here...just as it would have been for you to search and find many on your own.

However, you and I both know that they would not have convinced you as you appear to consider this President something of a 'Rock Star' on the world stage...and any amount of articles I might produce to the contrary, would do little to change that point of view.

And that's okay...I understand how rarely polarized juxtapositions of personal opinion find common ground or result in a 180-degree epiphany for one side, or the other...especially when political and ideological passions are in play.

Conversely, I doubt that even if you had taken up my twice-asked-for challenge to show me a list of nations that trust and respect Obama...and you had managed to find some articles and/or opinion pieces reinforcing your point of view...I would have been likewise unimpressed by your efforts and would have remained unconvinced by your actions.

So, that said, let's just say that we're each entitled to our opinions and, on this subject at least, we will agree to disagree.

I don't consider him a rock star by any means just I found different results when I did my search.

But yes we can agree to disagree.

After six years of hearing nothing but complaints about the current resident of the White House I feel that it is high time we put down our petty differences and prejudices and give this man credit for what he has accomplished!

Ok, I got nothing.....

Honestly, I will give him props for having an apparently intact family. That's something most people of his ethnicity do not enjoy these days, and it will make a difference to his daughters.

I wish that Michelle Obama had chosen the family as her cause instead of school lunches though.

Our system is screwed and us along with it. Obama has, and Hillary will (if elected) continue the destruction of America...as is their goal. Don't believe it? Well...if you love America, why in the world would you want to "Fundamentally change" it?? Simple...because you hate America and want to change it into something else. Hence...you must hate America.

Do you think he has at least done a better job that Dubya?

At least Obama played a role in normalizing relations with Cuba. That will be a great thing he will be remembered for.

Do you really believe Jeb Bush will be a better candidate than Hillary? (the GOP nomination is his to lose)

To respectfully answer your possibly loaded questions...No...I don't think he has done a better job than Bush. I think he has destroyed our economy and done damage to our country that will take decades to repair. His decision to normalize Cuban relations isn't a major negative to me, but I wouldn't consider it a positive. And I wouldn't vote for Jeb Bush unless the other choice is Hillary or someone on the same level of liar, cheat and thief. Our once great country is in the toilet thanks to Obama and if Hillary gets elected...she will flush.

Yeah...my kids and my wallet too! What is the point of give kids crap they won't eat and throw in the trash at a higher price tag than the stuff they would eat???

Not sure why you went on a rant there, but I think you missed my perspective. Clearly there are differences between the political parties. If there was not then it would be time for a revolution and mutiny.

I will write this again, to answer what the OP asked.

Barack Obama will be remembered positively for Cuba, among a few other things. I really do not know how anyone can categorize him as the worst president ever. For some reason I think our system is designed this way. Polarize the public opinion so no matter who is in charge there will always be a significant percentage who blame believe this. When Bush (jr) was president there many who though he was the worse president ever. Even Clinton had(a much smaller following of haters) a few.

Way to parrot a right wing think tank talking point.

Or just remain ignorant and only look at someone on 'the other side' negatively, while ignoring the shortfalls of those that you perceive to be on your side.

Barry has not done a bad job.

Cuban refugees benefit from this because now they can visit their family members over there.

Not sure why you thought my post was a rant.
Just throwing some facts out there.
The main fact that I would want everyone to know is that just about every politician is a whore to special interests and they could care less about blacks, gays, freedom or anything else that many real people care about.
Obama is just the latest on the whore-card.

For showing us how to push the envelope on Executive Orders.

Factually incorrect. He is actually in the middle of the pack when it comes to executive orders. 26th all time if i remember correctly, and that's with two terms.

Improving relations with Cuba again is one obvious act that helped improve our image with the rest of the world.

The US, especially the MIC and the war machine are despised around the world. There is much hate for this country around the world. I hate to type this, however it is the convenient truth of this world, at least some of that hate is justified.

We still have a long way to go to be viewed as a country that brings goodwill to the world.
