I don't think I could feel any prouder than I do today. Watching the commemorations at The Cenotaph at Whitehall. Seeing the veterans, and serving members of our Armed Forces. I also would like to pay my deepest respect to Mr Miliband and Mr Clegg who despite everything that has taken place over the last few weeks days and hours, are still attending and laying reefs in tribute, despite of what, after all, must have been the most gruelling twenty four hours of their lives. Surely there could be no other first civic duty for our new Prime Minister that so suitably serves as a stark reminder of what he must now serve and represent.

A most fitting and dignified tribute to the very finest, the most glorious, the bravest and the best.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning I will remember them.

Pride. Not a sin --but a character flaw to be sure.

These brave souls gave their all so we can spout sheer BS in a partial free world. Imagine a time displacement, where WW2 happens today, how many would join the battle of freedom putting their life on the line? We would lose everything we hold sacred as the keyboard warriors called us baby killers and morons. The results of WW2 were not perfect but much better than the alternative. The Nazi theology would have wiped out a lot of (in their views) subpar races and humans. Total control of everything...life, career, family, everything...just like socialism in hardcore fashion. We owe a lot to these veterans, and should treat them like the real heroes they truly are as I feel we would not duplicate their actions in today's society of spoiled smartphone button pushers....sorry if this offends, but the truth has teeth....

I think I may have not properly made my point and I apologise. Pride in ones nation, what it has achieved and stands for is world away from the character flaw, or sin if you like, of selfish arrogant pride.
