Loyalty to a foreign government is a real issue.
...but so is a Congress who fears the Israeli lobby.

Then it all comes back to you and me, the voters or non participants. We need to demand campaign reform or nothing else matters much. Until then, I will research and vote the best I can. And hope one day americans will want the democracy part back, free persons running for public office.

Another Bush vs Clinton race does appear to be set in stone. I feel this is particularly so on the on democratic side. Nobody seems to be interested in running against Hillary Clinton. The same goes for the candidates on the GOP side not wanting to seriously challenge Jeb Bush. Aside from Hillary and Jeb the candidates on both sides are running in order to boast their national profile , a cabinet post or the VP slot.

Silly question but what manifest destiny?
