It's both untrue and irregular Masonry. They aren't sanctioned by any Grand Lodge nor are they "Masonic" in anyway since they don't follow the Ancient Landmarks of Freemasonry. It's not an excuse, it's a fact. They aren't a minority or a majority since they are not a part of the fraternity in the first place.

Perhaps, you as a Mason, have been lied to? Hmm?

Perhaps you're mistaken about a group you're not a member of.

It's awfully suspicious how this goes from untrue to....
oh that's not the normal Masons....

That's a nifty excuse right?
That those that are doing those crazy things are NOT
the majority?

Perhaps, you as a Mason, have been lied to? Hmm?

May I ask who has been calling this story untrue because I haven't heard/seen anyone say that? Multiple people on this thread who aren't Freemasons have came to a similar conclusion after doing a little research. Are you saying there's a good chance the Majority of Freemasons are actually working for/with this police force or doing similar things? I don't think people are making excuses and have only posted facts/the info they have found so far. Is there any evidence these 3 belonged to a regular Freemason lodge and this is a wide spread problem?

KSig's response is dead-on.
Do you know what a Rosicrucian is?
Are you aware that there is AMORC, and then there is the Rosicrucian Fellowship, founded by Max Heindel, who was a member of AMORC, but other members of the Fellowship were NOT. So if one of THEM went and founded a lodge and called it "the Rosicrucians," ordered some Rosicrucian and police uniforms online, and started dropping by police stations like "Hi, we got this," you see how that could be an issue? And actual AMORC members might be like "Hey, whoa there - they aren't REAL Rosicrucians."
Ya dig?
