Today we lose another great voice , Hot Chocolate singer Errol Brown dies.

It seems hardly a day goes by without sad news of another of the great icons of music moving on to the great gig in the sky , today it's been announced that Errol Brown , singer with Hot Chocolate has lost his battle with Cancer aged 71.
Errol was a great singer / songwriter with an ear for a hit , Hot Chocolate racked up 20 top 40 hits in the UK and had hits in more than 50 countries worldwide , Errol Brown was made an MBE in 2003 and in 2004 he received an Ivor Novello Award for outstanding contributions to British music.

R.I.P. Errol, I saw the TV news a while ago, and was going to post it and, I'd picked the same '78 video.

In edit, I mean't to say he had a big tour just last year, and in such a short time gone. Rod Allen went the exact same way.

So many great songs and great memories to go with them.

This was from the days when I was ummmmmmmmmmmm about 11 years old and a kiss on the lips was a solemn promise to marry.

Yeah yeah yeah I'm a sentimental old git, but I can see her face to this day

R.I.P. Mr Brown, many thanks for a lifetime of memories, and a few shed tears, you helped me to learn love.
