Better than boots on the ground and seems alot more precise than drone strikes.

And seeing as ISIS have threatened death to Russia and China I cant see them minding a few zapped Jihadis.

why would one want to use such a device..unless its to attack invaders from other solar systems..so you like,put a gps thingy on it,put some out of this world coordinates..and then magically it can just travel to the mothership of the invader species and blow them to little fairy dust sized pieces..FAAAAAR from our civilization PLEASE!!

Seems to drive people mad as well....like an ucontrolable insane drive when in its presence what I hear from my mother's brothers cousin who read it on the net

If you want to blow up a planet, a solar system, a galaxy or the entire universe for that matter, I guess you could use antimatter. I dont doubt we have a few anti matter world destroying weapons surrounding our solar system for use against alien hostile planets.
