Something has been nibbling on the new plants by my front door. I came out the other night and one of Beezer's ilk went scampering off across the
lawn, away from the flower bed. I stumbled on this solution while looking into humane traps.
It's an Orbit Yard Enforcer motion activated sprinkler, and I think it's awesome.
You can set it for night mode, day mode or both. It also has a feature that lets you water an area for 30 minutes. You can attach to other sprayers
as well, so you get more coverage. It runs off of 4 AA batteries, which kinda sucks but at the same time kinda doesn't. I wish it was solar, but
I'm thinking that would make the unit much more costly and inconsistent.
There were a few reasons I chose this one over the others. This one is adjustable for both spray duration and distance. I wanted something that
would keep squirting for more than a second or two, and would be able to squirt at least 10 feet. This one does 15 feet and less (I think 15 feet is
the maximum anyway).
The first comment on Amazon has a video of the thing squirting his neighbors dogs, it's a pretty amusing read and video.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else is looking for what I hope is an effective and humane way to keep things out of the plants. I'll pop
back in and update on it's effectiveness, I just got it assembled and realized I don't have 4 AA. I thought it took a 9V.

That's pretty cool, although the cooler thing is having a deer in your garden I rek.
Or do deer eat everything in the garden?
Good way to scare them off if they are a problem, without hurting them.
The best things I have seen in my garden are a fox, badger and the odd hedgehog.
You are lucky to have deers come to your garden.
