I have used it a considerable amount in the past, but there are a few glitches with it overall. Sometimes the icon does not light up when there is in
fact a PM. Also, another thing I noticed is that it only stores the past several PMs and all the others must get deleted for space or whatever. This
is mostly fine, but sometimes it is nice to go back for reference etc.
It's because people don't realize that they have messages. There is no email notification, and the only way of knowing is a colour change of an icon,
that you have to already know about. Those not generally used to the colour change, won't ever know that they have mail, unless they actually go to
their mailbox. The PM system has been rendered useless, by a "form over function" website redesign.
I cannot believe that those in "power" haven't understood this. I've posted a similar complaint here.
