Look closer my friend, on perhaps a good size screen and also re-size it!

Case closed!!!

Thank you for the pic - that really says it all...
(The trees are exactly the same, and if you line them up the cell towers look exactly the right height to be in the "ufo" photo, as do the white lights on the other part of the mountain.)

Reading through the thread, my initial thoughts were 1) the blinking red light looks exactly like the one in the foreground, but they are not synched up, 2) it looks terrestrial to me without any of the "high strangeness" or otherworldly quality (like no glare or some such thing), 3) I honestly thought it was toy drones with LED lights hooked together somehow.

peace,
AB

I don't see the relation to the lights and the mountain and why haven't people seen the same lights at other times before? If this allegedly the reflection of the antenna on the mountain it would have been noticed long time ago methinx!

They have seen them every time they drive along that road, night and day so wouldn't give them a second glance. The same way I see the streetlight outside my house and the same across the field every time I go out after dark and know they're nothing more than streetlights,Occam's Razor at work here.

It's not ALLEGEDLY the reflection, they are seeing what they're seeing. It has been noticed LOTS of times before judging by the very large numbers of results if you put 'Cerro Colorado' into Google, and I'd bet just about every tourist who's driven through Tijuana during the day will have stopped to take photos of it.

Yes in this particular case this has obviously happened, but it doesn't mean this is always the case does it?

I think the way this has been debunked is great work by those who have spotted what it really is. It just goes to show that misty days and mountain lights can indeed, look like a UFO.

Skip to 4:45 into the video, Suspicious Observer has this one officially debunked.

I agree. No drones. Just deliberate ratings bait by a local network.

ZetaTalk (apparently she still has a lot of followers who post questions for "Zetas" each week) said it's the real deal:

This genuine UFO display over San Diego was recognized as a constellation design. Speculation included the Pleiades star cluster or Ursa Major (Big Dipper). It is clearly the latter as the handle of the Big Dipper is present. The display has complexity, from a strobe UFO light in the center of the dipper to a cluster of bright white lights at the end of the handle. The outline of the dipper is also upside down, a full 180° turn from what is expected of the Big Dipper at this time of night. What is the intent of the display? What message is being delivered to the populace below?

zetatalk.com...

Let's see how she tries to spin this one...

Consider the possibility of all the lights not belonging to the same craft. It could be 1,2,3,4, or 21 separate objects.

I win

Oh wait I also said "Craft" ok so I half win...
