Made in 1988, Willow is about an evil queen who will stop at nothing to kill a baby who one day will grow to dethrone her. Willow (Warwick Davis) is a little guy with a lot of courage who is on a quest to take the baby to safety.

I saw this movie a long time ago. I think I was 17 years old when I saw it and it's still as good as I remember. The little brownies in the movie still make me laugh like they did back then.

More about the movie: Willow

Loved Willow. I've seen it maybe three times. First time, I found it just magical. I liked Val in it as well.

I loved the name "Willow" ever since and would consider using it as a pen name.

Thanks for bringing it up.

One of the first movies i went to watch in the cinema without my parents, i was about 13. Willow, Big and Scrooged were all great movies that year or there abouts.

You're welcome. I thought Val Kilmer was funny in it. Willow is a good name. It's also one of my favorite trees.

There is an old Irish saying, and I will spare you the Gaelic version, that goes like this:

" A willow doesn't bend with ease; the bigger the wind, the stronger the trees,"

Loved the movie Willow. My second daughter was named Ellora, inspired from that movie.

And Val Kilmer was yummy eye candy in that flick.
