God help us if we're gullible and stupid enough to elect yet another from the Bush dynasty.
John Quincy Adams he ain't, nor was his father.
I say we make a throne and crown and get it over with.
The pretense of freedom is making me ill.

It's been that way from the get go.
Electoral college since people could not be trusted to directly elect anyone. The whole thing is a sham.

We currently have two candidates to choose from. One comes from a family of lousy politicians, the other only has one qualification, being bills wife.
Either way we lose.
I do find it funny that bush's millions in campaign funds are from the dirty one percent but Clinton ' s funds must be from angel farts, even though they come from the same dirty one percent. I guess holding the money in the left hand isn't as bad.

I wonder if, as a result of decades of active anti-Communism, that the US is too scared to even look Left. What do you think?

Too scared to look Left???

What do you call 8 years of Obama?
People have had enough of the Lefts blame America first approach.
There is going to be a reckoning in more wars because of weak foreign policy down the road.
Peace through strength, disaster through weakness. The left fully embraces weakness witnessed by their neglect of the military, their diplomacy and the rise of extremism which coincides with their turn at the helm.

Failure is failure, hope and change was someone else's idea of hope and change, it is time to shore up the bulkheads and start repairing the damage that has been done.

Do you ever have an original thought or is everything that rolls around in your head straight from Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and the rest of the hardcore Conservative drones?

From your response, I hit the mark dead on.

The failure of your left wing's turn at the helm exposed all their philosophy as detrimental to the human race let alone our country. It has you coiled for defensive outburst because you know the fat lady has sung with the final curtain drawing near on liberal follies for a while.

At least we can say the US put on kid gloves and it didn't work, now it is time for the professionals to man the controls. When Obama clears out his JV practice squad, the world can start recovering.

I know you can only see the world as left wing and right wing but I'm neither. You always fall back on the most predictable defense in every debate... just try to be original for ONCE and see how it feels.

I want nothing to do with the Democrats and the Republicans are just as bad but for different reasons. Both sides hate freedom in their own ways.

Your world may be black and white but reality is certainly not.

Angel farts and foreign enemies of the U.S. expecting favors if/when she's elected...

You either get Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama etc. no matter how far back you go.
You are the one not facing reality, you either get one or the other. Changing times match certain sides better than others. The amateur hour is just about over.

Sometimes it is hard to say one side is so much better than the other, but in this case it is simple to say one side is so much worse than the other. You only get two viable choices, pretending otherwise is just foolish. The selfish liberals got their eight years of false hope now our grandchildren will all suffer for it. Obama has slammed the pendulum into the clock wall and it is going the other way.

Historical recap: 911 attacks, anthrax attacks, WAR, 2007 Recession/Depression for 7 years, gas at $4.20 a gallon...George W. Bush
Human evil is what went on. Does any one remember the hurricane that hit Louisiana and all that went on down there?

During the Clinton era we had a sex scandal but the world was doing really well. Times were good.

I will not vote for any other Bush to ever be in office again. They need to go earn their money. Vote with your wallet folks.

I see that you blame bush Jr for the recession that hit 2 years after he left office, so are you going to give bush Sr credit for Clinton's booming economy then?
Apples to apples right?

From what I remember the bailouts started before Bushes term ended. Wouldn't that be considered the beginning of the colapse?

Anyone who would willingly cast a vote for either Bush OR Clinton in this election cycle is absolutely insane, or in the pockets of their financial backers. If either of them win, you can bet it was at the insistence of the companies and/or foreign governments backing them, and certainly not at the behest of the American people.

So glad I won't be a citizen by the time this election happens, you Americans can keep your sham of government to yourselves.

That could be considered the start yes. But people forget that Bush Jr warned about Fannie and Freddie several times and several years before they crashed. Barney frank insisted that they where financial sound.
To be honest, giving a president credit for a good or bad economy is wrong. There are way to many factors outside of the president's control.

Bush is a crook, the entire family are a dynasty of crooks.

It's not really a surprise that other wealthy crooks support the Bush crime syndicate / family.

But that started because Bush gave mortgages to people barely able to afford their tattoos.

No Clinton did that first, then bush didn't reverse the policy.
The Community Reinvestment Act signed by slick willy in 1995 I think, pressured banks to lower lending standards. That made mortgages easier to get so prices went way up and what goes up must come down.

Um, actually we have a very strong left, and a very strong right, and they bicker back and forth constantly. What we don't have is a strong center. That's what we need.

I respectfully disagree.

What we have in the US is a very strong center, a virtually non-existent Left and an extremely vocal Right.

Can you name any one politician in congress today that openly labels themselves a "socialist" or "communist"? I doubt that you can.

The "Left" learned a long time ago that they was defeated by the propaganda of the Right, and if you can't beat em.....join em. So the Left moved to a bit right of center and we lost any semblance of a true, socialist, Left.

That's why I laugh when I hear the uninformed Republicans screaming about socialism and the Left. What socialism? Where?

I don't see it. Do you?

I think Bush didn't want to make a big issue out of bad investments for fear that the issue of the wars being kept off the books would be brought into the discussion.

He was smart not to throw stones while living in a glass house.

I wasn't talking about voting.

I was talking about clinging to one side and defending everything they do while spouting childish insults at the other side based on information you heard from your chosen media clowns. Both sides are guilty but you're the current example.

The only thing you accomplish with that behavior is the reinforcement of stereotypes and further strengthening of your opponent's beliefs.
