Well, the problems in Chechnya are not exclusively Russian problem. The next stages of insurgency will probably include all
Caucasus. The proposed Caucasus Emirate will at later stages threaten also Armenia and Georgia, so that there will be one huge Sunni Caliphate all the way from Mosul to the Northern parts of the Black Sea. If Russia will crumble there will be no Georgia and no Armenia too.

Last leader of Chechen and whole Caucas Emirate Ali Abu Muckammad al Dagestaniwas was recently killed,
en.wikipedia.org... but there are clear signs that in his last months he was loosing influence and many field commanders pledged allegiance to ISIS. It is rumored that up to 2000-3000 ethnic Chechen's are fighting for ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

Your right he was the current Amir and he just died about two weeks ago or so . Their was a Fitna between Some of the Chechen factions in Kavkaz regrading Allegiance to ISIS however I am under the impression that the Fitna was cleared up .

to say 2000 or 3000 Chechen's are fighting in Iraq and Syria is a bit High , Their is not even that many Fighting in Chechnya .

But we do know that some of the Chechen's over in Syria have pledged to ISIS unfortunately.

My question is who is going to be the Next Amir of Kavkaz and is he going to pledge Allegiance to ISIS , Ill have to keep a close eye on that and keep this thread updated if possible .
