Only one thing worse than sandler in a sandler movie and thats other actors like rob schneider in it, hes just so bad he makes my eyes roll to the point i think they might fall out and disown me.

This one will have Rob Schneider, David Spade, Blake Sheldon, AND Vanilla Ice. So I believe that spells Netflix
O-N-E S-T-A-R review. LOL

One of the paps on TMZ Live made a "too soon?" groaner today on TV when they were talking about this. They mentioned how the Navaho were told by the director if they didn't like the situation, they very well pack up and leave, and that's what they did, but not before the director gave them blankets to take home with them.

You should change the title to:
" Native actors walk off of comedy movie set, due to their failure to understand comedy."

It doesn't matter who you are. If you're in an Adam Sandler movie, you're getting made fun of. Rule of thumb.

Haven't heard anyone kicking up a fuss over it being done on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Probably directly related to how funny it is.

Sandler sucks. He was never funny and his career is going to $h!+. That is why Sandler is making movies on the Internet channel like Netflix. Pretty sad that Sandler has to exploit native culture for a cheap laugh and an easy buck. I'm glad that I don't subscribe to that Gawd awful outlet. I guess Hollywood hasn't learned anything from the Brando/Littlefeather Oscar protest. I guess Sandler couldn't find humor in the Jewish Halocaust then.

How is that offensive?

It is stupid, yes. Offensive? No.

In this day an age everything is considered offensive though. I mean, even a woman breast feeding her child is offensive now.

When people have nothing serious to worry about, they get bored and pick stupid fights to battle against.

Give him time, he still has a career. As for Netflix, I subscribe to it because I don't have cable TV. When my special needs daughter visits, Netflix carries a lot of the Disney shows she watches, plus Winx, another cartoon she enjoys. She's 19, but operates on a 8-12 year old level. Since I don't have cable, I don't get the cartoon channels for her. Plus Netflix carries a lot of cartoon movies for her, such as Ice Age, Tarzan, etc... Trust me when I say it's been my lifesaver on weekends when she visits. She knows she can go on m computer, or my Kindle, or even on my cell and watch whatever she wants that's appropriate to her age level and I know she'll be a happy camper. It's worth my $8!

I wondered after posting that whether unions were involved.
Even at $9/hr I'm sure there would be many wanting the work given the economic situation mostface.

Here is hoping he stops making movies.

This is his level of comedy.....

I got stuck on a bus several times here where this movie was played. It was like a social experiment to see if anyone would just jump off the bus I think. I couldnt find my shoes.....

Agreed. And c'mon, Blazing Saddles anyone? They made fun of EVERYONE!

Yeah but that was Mel Brooks this is Adam Sandler. One is a comic genius the other is overrated B movie actor.

Overrated is still admitting that the person is rated.

I generally go easy on comedians, comic writers, directors and actors. Thin line between really funny, dull, over the line, and offensive. Regardless of what you think of Sandler it takes a lot of bravery to do that work and have it scrutinized by others. Maybe this time got it wrong, but that's show biz.

I bet if the asshole felt some discomfort, he would relate a little better. Who is he anyway? Does he even know? Stick to acting even though you really suck at it. I wish I was there because I wouldn't have a problem fighting for the underdog. You can say the Native Americans are crying if you want but unless you walk a mile in their shoes, you don't know #.

Had you not noticed that internet entities like Netflix and Amazon are becoming respectable players in Film and TV production?

Netflix has had at least a couple acclaimed series so far. The only one I've personally watched was "Orange Is The New Black," but that was certainly on par with much of the stuff I've seen from the more traditional TV-channel productions of companies like HBO and SHOWTIME. Certainly not the kind of low-budget crap people think of when they hear "straight to video."

Things continue the way they do, some of these internet entities could become major players in the industry. Welcome to The Digital Era.

Netflix is too good for Adam. They will fire him because the hype won't meet expectations.

IMO he made the second worse movie of all time, Punch Drunk Love. The only one I can think of that's worse is Out of Africa.

It's an Adam Sandler movie, it was never going to do anything but make bad/stupid jokes.

A broken clock is right twice a day. Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison.

Admittedly Happy Gilmore is comedy gold, had completely forgotten about it, cheers for the reminder.

Not entirely sure what 'inappropriately placing feathers' on a teepee means (apologies if this seems offensive, i know literally nothing about the culture but sounds interesting)

The Navajo Peoples are a very gentle, very respectful Tribe.
I am glad they stayed true to their convictions.

I have no comment about Adam Sandler humor other than I liked Mr. Deeds.
The End.
