You believe they were killed by aliens, right?

No, I do not. I've never given any indication that I believed that these servicemen were "killed by aliens".
It seems highly unlikely to me.

Yeah I found mention of one that happened at night over a base but with mostly uncertain testimony. No casualties. Another one that had a soldier express knowledge of UFOs that later died in Vietnam. Nothing yet that I would put in the same category.

I may have to stop posting here. Which is what these "people" want anyway.

I may not speak on behalf of other members participating in this thread but I don't think any of us want you to stop posting here. But I do want you stop posting things that add little value to the debate and are all about you.

I'm done toying around in this thread because it's supposed to be a discussion about a UFO in the Vietnam war.

Here are your posts in the thread

Most of your posts are about forcing yourself to the centre of attention. This is done by creating an argument that takes other posters away from the main topic or trying to reel people in with your pompous declarations about knowing aliens are here because back in '66...etc.. I don't know? Maybe you actually are an alien?

I see many others have tried to cajole you into making your own thread where you can 'naval' gaze (Zeta hope you appreciate that one) to your heart's content. You seem like a highly intelligent person who could actually add to debates in a mature manner. But it seems your default position is to keep sniping at the sceptical posters rather than discussing the heart of the matter.

I am trying to be diplomatic about this and make some constructive criticism of your posting style but have the feeling you will probably just come back and attack me for a grammatical error, spelling mistake or twist my words back at me.

The choice is ultimately yours of whatever action you choose to take.

I appreciate your input and always appreciate your posts, even if you do tend to ride the fence. But I do think you are downplaying the unrelenting, vehement attacks aimed at me.

Instead of linking to my posts in this thread, here's an idea, compile the posts in this thread that are attacks and insults aimed specifically at me.

Let me know when you do, I'd be very interested to see that data compiled.

Having followed the thread and finally making an account after lurking for roughly 10 years, I have to say the demeaning of someone else's experience is sort of alarming and a bit disappointing. I myself have had something weird concerning a UFO happen to me, and I can't explain it away as much as I'd like to. I specifically made this account to share this and will do so once I can post new topics.

In the meantime, just accept that people experience things that they do not understand that do not always fit into the neat little boxes everyone tries to contain them in. I don't mean open your mind so wide it fall out of your skull, but at least approach the topic with a semblance of civility. These are, after all, other human beings.

Thank you for your post, I truly welcome what you have to say. Please keep posting!

I may be a fool, but Aliens, from my understanding, became a frequently present occurrence due to humanity dabbling in forces it should perhaps leave well alone before we can truly grasp the nature of which we are dabbling. Sure, they felt the necessity of intermittently arriving to tamper in our world events (usually via seamless genetic interference) but only to put us back on the straight & narrow when on occasion we steered off course. It's a straight in-and-out job, like the worst sex & the finest discretion reality has to offer, combined. If only our mechanics, plumbers & electricians were as efficient. Then again, what do I know, I'm just a fool.

What a fantastic post, thank you for speaking out.

You sure don't sound like a fool to me!

Hey........... the debunkers have become pretty mean spirited recently, I don't understand why.

Just because mainstream Ufology has obviously gone down the toilet doesn't mean people on this website cannot inquire about past UFO sightings. Debunkers should too....In fact what is this whole debunkers, believers, skeptics, mumbo jumbo anyway.

I don't know what I would label myself as, a curious mind?

I believe it is possible for life to exist elsewhere in the Universe...I think most debunkers do too???

I believe it is possible for our current transportation or understanding of the Universe to continue to evolve...I hope most debunkers believe in evolution too???

Therfore I believe it is possible for some life elsewhere in the universe to have evolved past current human technology...I hope debunkers don't think human life is the most advanced being in all of the Universe???

In conclusion I believe it is possible for life to visit us....debunkers can disagree with that I agree to disagree, it's cool!

Double conclusion I whole heartedly agree there is no smoking gun evidence, and most of the claims are really just 2nd hand testimony of pure hogwash....I hope debunkers see I agree with them???

Does that mean we give up looking for evidence of visitation? Or give up looking for evidence of ancient advanced civilizations? Or give up looking for cover ups or secret space programs?...This is where debunkers seem to think we should give up looking??? I don't know why we should give up looking but ok, sounds good, I do have better things to do...

This

I was about to ask, "so where does this put me? what is my label?"

I have seen a very blatant daytime UFO, yet I do not really expect anybody to believe me, and I'm open to ideas of what it was I actually saw.

If anything valuable occured, reading this thread has me feeling pretty lucky since some of you claim you have never seen a UFO.

I'm out of here now, it's been kind of fun, but I don't want to get destroyed like Scdfa, onward with your battle folks

I can't say as I blame you, but I do urge you to share what you know to be true. I'd love to hear about what you saw, in detail. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't so important.

A daytime sighting is VERY significant, you had a chance to observe the actual structure of the craft, whereas many nighttime sightings can only describe the lights of the craft. So, yes, what you saw may have been rare and important.

But, post that in here and you will be insulted and attacked by pit vipers and haughty illiterates in such numbers that they will overwhelm anything you have to say.

Then the moderators will threaten you with a posting ban if you try to stand your ground and defend your position. I've been banned twice, and just today, a moderator sent me a warning that I may be banned again for my posts in this thread today. Don't be surprised if this is among the last of my posts, they may just ban me again for saying they threatened to ban me again.

I wouldn't be here at all if it weren't for two moderators who are really terrific people and felt I deserved to have my say. Kandinsky, and to the tenth power, I thank them for being gentlemen of character, and I'm grateful to have had the chance to tell the truth to anyone here interested in hearing it.

Maybe they just took pity on me because they know my Dad is dying of cancer, I'm his caretaker, and as I sit and watch over him, I post in here to distract myself from the slow, sad, unrelenting horror of watching him suffer in pain. He's sleeping on the couch next to me right now, only 70 years old. A vital, kind, brilliant, handsome blue-eyed liberal democrat who met Bobby Kennedy three times during his 1968 campaign. A man who always provided for his family, and loved his wife of fifty years, my Mom, who died on June first, 2012, at 11:05 am. My Mom, who was abducted by aliens even before I was born, and so many times afterward; alone, with me, with my brothers. It always

hold on Dad's awake-

I'm back-

So if I do go away or get banned, do not doubt for a second that I have been telling the truth.
There are some people in here you can trust, En Passant, and Kandinski, to name a couple.

But be very wary of people who seem to have a vested interest in denial, obfuscation, and what appears to be disinformation. Make no mistake, some of these opponents to aliens and abductions are far too intelligent to really believe their own claims of denial, they know full well that alien contact and abductions are completely real. Of course, many of the others are simply too deeply indoctrinated.

Be well. Good night. God bless. Call your Mom and Dad and tell them you love them, every single day.

I think I've tried to write about all my sightings here, the one above, still mind boggling.........the others I have concluded were either drones or simply accompanied by too many other factors to ever figure out what they were..

I can't speak for anyone else. But I can say that I have no invested interest and am not indoctrinated into anything. I never blindly take sides on any subject, I just call it like I see it, without trying to bring all that human emotion into it.

I just have to say it though, I seriously question the authenticity of your claims. I also doubt your confused, your posts come across as being far to coherent for that. Your claiming you've been abducted by aliens, but won't even write a detailed thread, or at least even describe the species. If I was seriously ever abducted by extraterrestrials, I would consider the appearance or species of the entities to be the most important point when mentioning my experience.

I would love for your claims to be true dude, but I'm questioning the sincerity of your posts...........Just saying.

So you are just saying that now? You could have said that like 3 pages ago if not from the start. You could have saved a lot of back and fourth. My comments were pretty explicit. you even quoted me.
from page 12:

What argument? People died in combat? What in the world does that have to do with your beliefs in aliens? You want to believe they were killed by aliens? Well, that's sad.

So now you are agreeing that this event had nothing to do with aliens? OK. Do you think it was more likely a cover story for friendly fire or just a lot of war time confusion? Or are you going with interdimensional? Mass hallucinations? What exactly?

My personal favorite is "people on a forum".

but I don't want to get destroyed like...

Well that sucks. As long as you don't cross any personal lines, call me names, play stupid word games, play victim, act like a condescending jackass, talk incessantly about yourself, tell me I am a denier or a disinfo agent, count my posts, accuse me of neglecting my kids, tell me that I shouldn't use my avatar, and come back with a different account and repeat all of the above, you probably wont get much more than a question or two from me. Not that anyone has done any of that but it really takes a lot for me to think you aren't being sincere. Heck even the guy who says he has alien DNA ...or non-terrestrial DNA has my respect. So I wouldn't worry too much about it

If you want answers from me, you better try asking nicely.

I really wish I had the freedom to say what I want with out getting banned.

You sir are a joke.

I told you what I suspected, I gave my opinion which was honest and you take offence.

Pretty please with sugar on top would you answer my questions or at least as you like to bring up spelling, grammar and meanings of words so much stop with the knowledge claims when you cant pass on the knowledge when asked after you have implied you wanted questions about your experience.

That is trolling the boards in the most obvious fashion.

Just answer the questions and shut people up instead engaging them in some back and forth useless discussion.

Well, I guess you told me! Does it feel good to answer your own questions?

So I answered my questions?

Are you saying my suspicions are correct?

So did you or did you not experience aliens, or are saying your perception or interpretation of that experience is not alien anymore?

Just answer the questions instead of this back and forth, you wanted to be asked and when asked, you reply as you have?

You must be having a laugh at our expense if you don't want to discuss what you said you wanted to.

My screen name is the famous line from the movie Aliens. Also a play on words like I'm a super hero of some sort, lol!

Every time I see it (your screen name that is) I hear Bill Paxton's voice and picture his scared look.
