Iranians have stupid leaders. Over the last decade various sanctions have cost Iran anywhere from $25B to $100B as hit to the economy. Iran should have consulted the price of nuke warheads in the markets and then given North Korea $2B to get 4 nukes in the arsenal.

Once goodies in the kitty, they should have leaked the news that Iran has gotten nukes from NK. Then they could have opened their nuke stations for all to inspect at any time regarding the programs to be used for power generation etc.

One other country has gotten nukes this way and that country is Saudi Arabia. They have terms with Pakistan to set aside few nukes for them and send them in if needed. Only difference is in Saudi case, the nukes are kept with Pak and will be sent via DHL once needed.

Putin is however right that S-300 is a defensive weapon and giving lethal weapons to Ukraine would be a wrong move on the part of Israel. Who is Israel telling Syria or Iran or others to not have this or that weapons system?

Do you have a source regarding Pakistan nukes and Saudi Arabia? Ive never heard about it.

As for the s300 missiles - our nmd program is also strictly defensive in nature.

Considering the Iranian military just declared all military sites closed to IAEA inspections I don't see how this agreement is going to work.

Vietnam was a political loss only really. Militarily according to some of their high ranking generals we would had had them after a few more weeks. Afghanistan Wasnt a loss we set up a new government and that was the actual objective. the mistake that keeps getting made is letting politics get in the way.

A loss is a loss is a loss.

Coulda, woulda, maybe, didn't

You LOST, and there you are now twisting that loss into a win. You just cannot accept it can you.

Palestine was NEVER a country. It was a part/region of the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire for hundreds of years prior to the British rule after the breakup of the Ottoman Empire after World War 1. Israel is a created country, I suppose to alleviate some guilty feelings after so many Jews having died (along with so many other groups that didn't get their own country but were persecuted by the Nazis) in World War 2. Palestine as a country can't be wiped off the map as it never was a country to begin with. Obviously Israel isn't so great at sharing the land they rule and just as obviously the surrounding Arab and other Semitic countries in the area that have attacked and attempted to wipe Israel off the map don't want to share either, despite ancient historical ties by both sides. But then.... that is how empires and countries have risen and fallen throughout time. Borders change. People are displaced. This is how history unfolds. But to say the country of Palestine is being wiped off the map just isn't so.

We are talking Israel and Russia and, in order to prove a point, you need to proclaim your support for the denial of Palestine right to exist ...

Distorting the facts of Occupation: Regavim’s attacks on the EU

...
Regavim claims that Israel does not “occupy” the West Bank, since that area was not under the sovereignty of any state when it was taken over by Israel. That argument is specious: it was firmly rejected by the International Court of Justice in 2004 in the case concerning the construction of the Wall, and it is not accepted by any other member of the international community. Contrary to Regavim’s argument, Israel does not enjoy sovereign rights over any part of the West Bank, whether in East Jerusalem or in Area C ; Israel must respect the Fourth Geneva Convention, to which it is a party, and which prohibits an occupying power from transferring its population into occupied territory.

In 1947, the UN General Assembly recommended splitting mandatory Palestine into two independent states – an Arab State (Palestine) and a Jewish State (Israel). Whereas Israel unilaterally proclaimed independence at the time, Palestine could not do so, being occupied by Jordan and, since 1967, by Israel. This does not mean that the West Bank and East Jerusalem are subject to Israeli sovereignty. Palestinians in the West Bank live in their own country.

...

The Regavim report completely distorts two basic concepts by accusing the EU of acting illegally through its provision of humanitarian assistance to residents of Area C. It is Israel that acts in breach of international law, both by building settlements for its own citizens, and by acting as if it were entitled to exercise sovereignty in the West Bank. The EU is fully justified in helping Palestinians avoid the consequences of these violations.

Russians have been supplying the war against Israel for quite some time.

Frankly if Israel wants to arm Ukraine, its just right as the good old book says. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Or Israel could just do what Jesus suggested which is lay down and take it. Good Advise for someone who can die and ressurect but not so much for mortal Jews now is it?

vietnam was a retreat. Afghanistan was not a loss or retreat. A LOSS would be a killing off of the entire army and a total failure of objectives. The main objective in afghanistan was deposing the taliban leadership and making a government. Thats not a loss at all. Political loss in vietnam though yeah you got that one after thinking on it. BUT thats it.

As much as I think putin is an asshat, its good to see someone stand up to the neonazi state of isntreal.

North korea has more of a right to exist than israel does imo. Israel has proven time and time again over the past half century or so that the jews learned a lot from the nazis, and have no qualms about using the same tactics against Palestine.

We bash the nazis for claiming to be the 'master race' yet see no problem in an entire country claiming, and acting as of they are "gods chosen people"

The ignorance is astounding when it comes to the way the majority of the world defends judaism. Thanks post-WWII zionist propaganda

Lol wow, there sure are a lot of isreal bashing prorussian folks all in one place.

Too bad I had to show up to ruin all the back patting and gleeful smiles.

First most, not all of you guys are batstuff crazy.

Isreal has not once launched a preemptive strike against the imaginary nation of Palestine.

They have suffered prolonged attacks sometimes for years before they counterattack.

Don't even throw out the lame isreal attacks hospitals, or the Palestinians only attack isreal because they live in an open air prison idiocy.

The Palestinians use ambulances as troop carriers, and schools and hospitals as weapons storage depots.

So when isreal attacks these legitimate military targets.

The Palestinians can say "look the evil Zionists bombed a hospital!!!".

As far as the Palestinians being trapped in a giant open air prison.

It is of their own making.

There was once no walls, travel was quite free between the 2, and the Palestinians caused many many many tragedies inside isreal.

Bus bombings, bombing markets, just pulling out guns and spraying in crouded streets.

Since the isrealis put up the walls and began restrictions on traveling to isreal for the Palestinians, this has completely stopped.

Since the Palestinians can't cause mass casualties or other atrocities in isreal any more.

They sit back and launch rockets into isreal.

Only after many thousands have been launched, does isreal respond.

In response they bomb the sights where the rockets come from, which is usually a residential neighbor hood, with many civies.

At thus point all you Jew haters pipe in with your "isreal is evil, look at all the civies they just killed!!!" Bs.

When in fact the Palestinians are just using simple minded useful idiots that believe them firing from a civie neighbor hood doesn't make it a legitimate military target.

If this was happening to Russia, well think Chechnya.

They did that over basically nothing.

If they were under constant assault like isreal, they would have already "cleansed" the Palestinians from the land.

Just as a start, you guys want me to continue at great length?

I can and will.

In fact I argue with mist of you guts here a lot, you know I will.

In fact this thread is basically a who's who of those I disagree with regularly on ATS.

Just missing the winning cheese guy.

How do you not consider the Palestinians progressively losing their land, almost completely, since 1940's, not being a "preemptive attack?"

What we think is that the Palestinians are just fighting back against losing their land and homes over 70 years.

To a certain degree, what you are saying is a like a thief coming and stealing a weaker person's car. And when that person fights back, the thief says "How dare you attack me? I didn't start this! I am being persecuted! Hey big brother (US), help me keep this car I got from this bully!"

The IDF wets their pants going against Hamas ...

They piss their pants when kids throw pebbles at them.

Anyway, talking about whether or not a country exists at all or has a right to exist is irrelevant when considering that children are being killed or otherwise used as pawns.

As far as hospitals goes, look at the pictures of missiles stored in those empty hospitals that the U.N. returned to Hamas.

"Yesterday, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered approximately 20 rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip. "

www.unrwa.org...

your propaganda it's poor, it lacks information.
Your generalizing some idiots that hided rockets in 3 (three) abandoned schools, with the general population and refugees of Gaza (at the time). But yet, Israel had to bomb 235 (two hundred and thirty five) schools, not abandoned. yeah right.

According to United Nations figures, 26 government schools were totally destroyed and 209 schools sustained damages (122 government schools, 83 UNRWA schools and four private schools

And: 17 hospitals and 56 primary health clinics were ALSO destroyed by Israel, despite all the UN warnings (in one case they warned 35 times it wasn't there any boogieman or weapons).. you know... they bombed anyway!

Please, add to your hiding Hamas list, (in the 50 days ASSAULT on GAZA), the following bombing places:

"18,080 units, housing that were totally destroyed or severely damaged ";
"Water Utility, 63 water facilities were damaged; among them 23 were completely destroyed"
" wastewater pumping station "
" The only power station in Gaza "
" 17,000 hectares of cropland and other agricultural infrastructure was substantially damaged,"
" 3 universities were directly hit in Israeli strikes and 8 universities sustained collateral damage";
"UNRWA estimates that 118 of its installations, including schools, health centres, and warehouses."

You like links... (keep them for late history... cause I know you wont read them)
