What is ironic about Sharia law, is that even though Muslim men scream about women and their dress in Islamic countries sure spend a lot of money on porn, prostitutes and nude bars in other countries.

Yes, American porn is the biggest export to Muslim countries. They give us oil, we give them porn..and not only us, but Russia, China, Japan, the UK, France, Germany...you name it.

Shariah law...just a code word for "me man like wife dressed so other man no see her, but I look at other man's woman in brothel or movie....drooooooooollll"

Porn in Islamic Countries

You know, when I Googled it, I typed "porn in islam" there were a lot of porn sites....I had to keep scrolling to find the article. What does that say about Shariah law?

Why don't they just stop mistreating their women and admit that they love porn?

I a perfectly delighted at the gallantry of the males on MY OP!

I'm sure the females are also delighted

I hope its not just rhetoric and the males really do feel such gallant chivalry in this modernist age

I of course brought up an ancillary point, regarding attitudes of sexual understanding, as being the main focus of the op, am not at all perturbed by people responding to the debate of whether breastfeeding should be carried out in public…no problem.

btw does anyone know whether the lady in question is married?

just wondering?

No, but she must be living with Jason Sudeikis.
She was married before.

What is funny is that if men breast fed babies they would be arrested, fined and god knows what else. That said, there are health issues regarding dispersing bodily fluids in public. In this day and age i dont see the need for it and yet this issue comes up like clockwork.

Oh poor men, they can't breast feed in public. It's so unfair, have you ever tried to lactate?

No i have never tried to lactate. That is not the point. The point is our impressions of things, although that is beyond the scope of this thread. If people just sat down and thought about it rationally would they really want women breast feeding all over the place? After awhile even woman would be like "alright enough of this". And a group of women breast feeding in restaurants are bound to leave milk all over the place. This is not sanitary.

Olivia Wilde Isn't Apologizing For That Photo Of Her Breastfeeding

2015 AD........... "after countless generations of humans being born, living and dying, generation "idiocracy" decides that breastfeeding is weird, sort of"

The issue, as others have so eloquently explained, is in the eye of the beholder.

LOL...what? I dont think i was going going to understand that anyway. The British education system leaves a lot to be desired.

All you have to do is think about it and it is just not really a good idea.

Olivia Wilde Isn't Apologizing For That Photo Of Her Breastfeeding. I think this lady is very naive about men. for all straight men, looking at a lady's breasts while she is feeding her baby is everything and is a very sexual experience. We just try not to be obvious about it.

I hope a lot more women do what this lady has done

She has nothing to apologise for.

Why don't people mind your own business, it is not her that has the problem, it is those crying from the rooftops about it.

Wow, just no.

I really don't find a baby feeding at a breast to be a sexual experience.

I'm pretty surprised you'd think that all straight men think this way.

Men does not produce milk. So what would the point being with breast feeding a baby when you have no milk to give?

If human milk is considered dangerous, then why aren't all milk considered dangerous?

i am one that gets annoyed with ladies breastfeeding in public in North America. but you know something where i am now i don't get offended, and it is a lot more common for women with babies to do. why is there this difference of my opinion just because of my location? that is an easy question to answer. it is they way it is done in each place. just look at this video as a good example of what is WRONG with the way women in North America do it. her shirt is half off, fully exposing herself. now if as a guy (as someone has said) pulled my pants down to take a piss, i would be arrested, even if i just undid my fly and tried to discreetly take a piss, i would be arrested and put on the sexual offender list, for exposing myself in public.

I'm with you on that... Exhibitionism? or a publicity stunt?

1) Why is the baby totally unclothed? surely that is not a necessity for the baby being fed?
2) She is holding the baby aloft in an unnatural position, the baby looks heavy/large so
it would be very uncomfortable holding it in that position for any length of time.
3) If she did that without the baby, she surely would be arrested for exposing herself!

now where i am at they don't expose themselves to breastfeed. in fact most times it even takes a minute to realize they are in fact breastfeeding. they are discreet about it. like i said, you don't even realize that they are doing it right away. they wear cloths that easily facilitate their needs without having to completely expose themselves. and we are not even talking about any special designed clothes or anything, just the standard attire they always wear.
The little bit of breast that is exposed is actually pretty much covered by the child that is feeding. they are not even taking any real care or precautions when doing it. they will just sit there and continue talking or whatever. they are not hiding in a corner or a special room.

When my mother breast fed my brother I was never aware that she was doing so
she was so 'matter of fact' and discrete.
No big deal ....

in North America it seems that a lot of mothers who breastfeed like to flaunt it, just like the lady in the video. some will even seem to make a theatrical production out of undoing and partially taking off their shirt and clearly showing their full breast to all, and making sure they have everyone's attention while doing so. and then after giving everyone a good view they then bring the child into position to feed. some even seem to be sure to draw everyone attention to them while they feed. in all honesty it seems like they purposely flaunt their breast and feeding specifically to draw attention to themselves and what they are doing. and is it racist to say that it seems that it is almost always white women who do it this way? there are exceptions, but all in all it seems non white women seem to be discreet about it, where a good many white women seem to like to flaunt it.

Like you said "quote" *making it a theatrical production* LOL!!...
EXHIBISHIONISM is alive and kicking!

Sorry, and maybe we are "backwards", but I don't see immodesty as some type of enviable trait, or some "progressive' characteristic we should immolate. If we are modest a while longer, suits me. I assure you it's fading fast.
I actually find modesty rather charming.

Me too .... Not enough of it around these days ...

Too much flaunting going on

I am totally disconnected from the taboo on breast feeding (and on boobs being seen in public in general).
Maybe I've been in Europe for too long now.

What gets me is men that have really hot legs, with muscular calves and thighs, that just go around in shorts like it's no big deal... and I'm a pervert if I am checking those out and drooling. "They're for walking, forchrisakes!" they say.
Don't they understand anything about female sexuality???

If people believed everything posted on ATS about the U.S. nobody would ever come here, and we personally wouldn't stand for it. It's a whole lot of BS most of the time.

I hope you are recovered enough some day to visit. You'll see how much fun we have, and how beautiful it is. : )
