This just seems like a RC plane shaped like a UFO to me hardly worth $150 for just the plans. I watched the video and saw no vertical takeoff or hovering.

A cool looking RC plane though if nothing eles

It would be fun to see the reaction you might get if you and a few friends
could fly these in formation over your town.

I agree that the price of plans alone seems a bit steep, even so I admire
the author's creativity.
