And then there's Bladerunner ;-) Being former military R&D, I've always liked the 'Tears in Rain' quote... “I've… seen things you people wouldn't believe… Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like tears… in… rain. Time… to die…”

Cheers - Dave

I could on for days...

OMG! Someone else recommends The Burbs?! I thought I was the only one who loved that movie.

Lol--I saw that movie when I was 9 and it scared the hell out of me!

It didn't scare. I just love "The Pizza Dude!"

And there are so many other quotes out of that movie, but since almost no one else has seen, no one gets it when I quote it.

I dont think its possible, but if you havent seen the "short circuit" franchise, You have to, you really have to.

www.imdb.com...

Basically one of the first movies to tell a story around sentient AI in a funny robotic shell.

Johnny 5 is alive! ALIVE!

The brand of humor hasnt been touched and probably wont. Short circuit was unique in that. I just saw "Chappy". It reminded me of the short circuit franchise. It was a great movie (more kick ass than SC..LOL) , but nothing will ever touch Short circuit as far as originality and humor.

Its a must see.

Real Genius (1985)
Chris: "So, if there's anything I can do for you - or, more to the point, *to* you - just let me know."
Susan: "Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your penis?"
Chris: "Not right now."
Susan: "A girl's gotta have her standards" (a young Val Kilmer is "brilliant" in this movie, and long live Lazlo too).

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Leia: "I love you"
Han: "I know"

The Terminator (1984)
Terminator: "I'll be back..."

The Shining (1980)
Jack: "Heeeeeere's Johnny!"

Ok, I got one.

Black moon rising. 1986

www.imdb.com...

The story wastes no time getting started.

You will be surprised as far as cast. I am sure you will see some familiar faces.

This is a classic 80s futuristic super car movie, with a cool heist and descent espionage plot all in one.
