Good day to everyone.

I'M SO EXCITED. AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT!!!


I got accepted in the 2016 Turkey Hunt Program.

I will be learning turkey biology, turkey hunting laws,firearm safety, equiptment needed and gunshot patterning. I will be assigned a mentor and will be actually out in the field hunting for 2 days. Weather permiting.

I have to go today and get a new pair of camo gloves and pullover face cover.

Pretty cool. I checked out the Osprey and the castle.
Of course by the time I got to look it was night. lol

I am thinking about doing my CBT training and a day on abike to see if I like motorcycles. I think it more the appeal of the leather, but we shall see. NS is hating the idea

It's so nice to know how people value you as a person and a friend. I had a wonderful example of this last night. It was a real eye opener.

My buddy asked me to help him put down flooring in his kitchen. I started having problems. My blood sugar was very low and I ended out passing out. We went back to the house after a while, where I passed out again. I came to some time later and got something to eat. I was then told by his wife that if I wasn't going to be any use to her husband, I can just go. Well la dee da da F you too. It's nice to know that people really, truly care about my well being, instead of seeing me as nothing more than a tool to be used and then discarded. Oh, might I add that not one damn person cared enough to help while I was passed out?

Just a suggestion...

But I learned on a trail bike in a field.
When you mess up... and you WILL! falling off on long grass is much kinder to your body than tarmac!
You learn all about the feel of the bike, balance, braking, handling skids etc without putting yourself in harms way, and it's great fun too!

All you need is someone with a wee trailie and a field! LOL

LOVED the castle! OMG! Drooling! Always feel such a connection to castles, maybe because of my being a descendant of King Charlemagne or something. Still pissed that somewhere along the line, someone lost our big bucks and passed down heirlooms!!!

Yep - dark now.
Just One Osprey so far... they don't stay on the nest at night unless they have eggs/chicks.
The adult will be waiting for it's partner to arrive now after flying back from winter in Africa!
They do tend to the nest during the day, when waiting for the other adult to return, so you might see it tomorrow.
