Well folks.

I have loved chatting. It is now time for me to take a hot shower and head off to dreamland.

Hope everyone has a good evening.

Gordi, Take care.

I'll let you all know how the Golden Milk comes out.

Heads up Gordi. Have had an eye on that turn "mi self".

I do hope you are well? Since I have been a wee absent I didn't notice that you might be ill.

The spring storms are coming your way soon, I used to fear them like the plague when I was ship bound. It was hell cooking for the boys in a storm, they where so picky and home sick when the weather turned bad.
Gentle as lambs in calm weather. Sweet as kittens.

Well, in high sea they could just rest, the bastards, but I still had to cook a three course meal at noon and be inventive for afternoon "Tea" and then come up with something to distract them for supper.
Ups I got carried on in memories. Sorry.

Sorry I missed you all earlier. My Sister and I had things to get rid of and sort through at Mom's apartment as the new owners will be taking over soon and I'm sure they will want to rent the apartment out. Still so much to go through. In a lot of physical pain from bending and lifting and helping my Sister carry things out to her car. She will be coming back over tomorrow. Little by little, things are going. Always cry when I leave there.

Then...our mighty dragon disappears once again. What is the Shed without our mighty dragon guardian????

Not myself today.

And...just so you all know, I will not be making any suggestions for the story in here or try to help with any tips unless someone wants to discuss those things and ask. Sometimes you try to be helpful and people resent it and take it the wrong way and feelings get hurt. That is the last thing I would ever want to do.

I love people, especially my Shed family. You were here for me through my cancer ordeal, through the death of both my Parents and other matters. You never failed me and were right here by my side. I had this safe haven to come 'home' to, a magical and enchanting place that could take me away to another place and time, a place to laugh even when I thought I forgot how to laugh again. Thank you to the original folks who started this in the first place, to Jane and her Valentine thread that first year, to jacy who began the Shed story, to the new people who have brought their own special kind of magic and keep it alive.

I just needed everyone to know that.

Keep the magic alive!

Ach, I'm ok. Never happy unless I'm moaning about something!

I LOVE the way that you describe the situations at sea!!
I'd love to read your memoirs of that time...

You have a real way with words. It's nice.

I agree

Yes I have used this picture before but is a pat on the back for "The Shed."

Compassion, yes, but one of my reasons for being here on ATS is that I could invite a ten year old with good conscience.

Lorraine,
the only thing that I can say is...

just be you.

None of us would even be here in the shed if it wasn't for you. (and Mike - come home soon buddy!)

If someone doesn't appreciate your advice then it's their loss. (idiots).

Just be You!

Thanks G.
It is such a tiny word, IT formed my life, this brings tears to my eyes, because it was so huge so challenging so alien from the world most people thread.
Most people can't grasp facing death on a regular basis. It becomes part of life to look into the eyes of eternity.
Very liberating.

As long as you are complaining you are alive my friend. Carry on.

Not myself today.

A big HUG, you are all ways you, and that is the beauty of you, never denying your self.

Why do we say that? "I am not my self" Who defines who we are? Perhaps the person who pops up in our comfortable world could make us think? Perhaps we could expand and become more because some one stepped beyond the boundaries.

Oh, Fuddle Muffin, you do a wonderful job and we should all be able to add our opinions and suggestions. We are here to listen, to learn, to care.
Don't worry.

Thanks Wis and Gordi! Teary eyed and very sensitive tonight.

Wis, LOVE that photo!

Gordi thanks for that!

Nothing more healing than Shed friends and their love!

My Sheddites, you are the best!

Meet Ella. She will bring all in The Shed much peace. (Even as she drives Martin crazy.) I can't wait to see her character grow!

Thank You, "feisty" yes, I have had some rough days, but I'll just go back to my "familiar" avatar.
I hope your interview goes well. I didn't know you had problems in your job.
How is life friend?
The days are growing longer and the sun warms so wonderfully.
We heard Sand Hill Cranes this week-end and juvenile eagle by the Mecan springs.
Soon we can gather fresh dandelions. They come first in spring.

Martin
Night
Those were such lovely pictures and words that we can all take with us into our night and the coming day. Ella is wonderful.
And the quote from Kahlil Gibran is very on point.
Thank You.
May you all rest well and have dreams that bring you joy.
