Whoa, I set myself up there, didn't I?

Really glad there's only a frozen pizza in my freezer right now...I think seeing meat wrapped in plastic would give me nightmares!

Is there a food forum here? If there is we will be sent there fairly soon.

I however have been banned from the kitchen. I can pretty much mess up boiled water. Hell I turned potato soup into paste just this week and I only wanted to make it cheesy potato soup. Who knew melted cheese turned soup into paste!

My mom even gets The Shed jokes now. I've laughed randomly so often that I finely had to explain. She was starting to think I was on drugs. LMBO

Check it in the AM, you might be pleasantly surprised. Or not.

If you make a mornay sauce first and then stir that in it should work much better.

Hey Marty! I've messed up with cheese too.

Lost interest in cooking over the last few years, since the kids are gone. I don't even want to admit how pathetic I've become, lol...like eating cold beans out of the can...and devouring mini-donuts (especially when I'm here).

Or maybe I'm just living those 'crazy college years' that I never had....?

You have WAY too much faith in me. What the hell is roux and where the hell did it come from? Yeah, I went down to Moe's for some Fettuccine Alfredo with little bacon crumbles. Hmmmm, my weakness at the moment!!!

Good God. You too need to come to New Jersey and let me cook some real food for you (no heads). This is seriously turning into a culinary calamity.

Oh I cook nothing. I hate fake box food and if it doesn't come out of a can, I can't pull it off; so I let Paul handle all the cooking. Except chocolate chip cookies. I can make some KILLER homemade cookies. I see nothing wrong with mini donuts. I have peanut butter M&Ms right now. Yummy!!

Augustus it really is that bad. My mom raised us on hamburger helper and spaghetti so I had no one to teach me. And at 40, its a lost cause. LOL

Did I see somewhere here that You like to change Avatars, fairly frequently?

Yep, it is kind of my alter ego at times I think. And at times it expresses an emotion. My original is my favorite though.

Sleep Dragon Dreams WIS. ...

Hay I was up all night, Dragons must have a different kind of "sweet"

Lol, hey WIS...this is turning into a chef party! plus me and Marty, hehe...

Augustus, I would love to visit New Jersey. Would you make us pasta? (love pasta)

I will openly admit that I've never been a foodie. My parents grew up in England during WW2, on food rations...and food was never a comfort or even something to 'look forward to'.

My mother-in-law was a professional cook (back in the Azores) and food is really important to her entire family. I am the lone weirdo around them.

Well, I certainly could teach you, it is not that hard, but the invite was just to eat, guests do not work at our house.

I am only 15 minutes from NYC.

Pasta would certainly be on the menu. You have to tell me what kinds you like best, I can make quite a few.

Is there a bad type of pasta? I love it all, although I probably like cream sauces better. That would be so awesome!! I’m not picky, I love food! 15 from NYC, that could be good or utter madness. I went up to see Phantom of The Opera. I was blown away by NYC. I guess it’s what happens when WV meets NY. LOL

I will be a tester! I'm very grateful when someone feeds me.
For years I lived in the kitchen as a stay-at-home mom who fed half the neighborhood.

There is no such thing as a bad pasta but my favourites are lasagna and spaghetti (not cream sauce).

I literally can't take much more of this and will have to actually go get some supper any minute now.

I'm sure you'll go well with everything.

I would ask what kind of substances are in there before you eat it.

I went up to see Phantom of The Opera.

Good! You're prepared. Things shouldn't freak you out too much then.

Yeah, that s*** in a can.

Those are quite easy, everyone loves Alfredo and Carbonara.

I enjoy it here, I am close to many different options when it comes to culture and entertainment.
