We had some ice and snow mixed. What a mess! Not a lot but still. My husband and I can't shovel and my Brother was away at work and he was the only other person in the entire building. So...I kept walking up and down the stairs and to the sidewalk throwing sand and ice melt stuff all over the place. Mark and I both had to go out today. He has a prosthetic leg, so I always worry when he has to go out in the winter when it snows.

You're lucky you could take all your animals with you when you moved. Mark and I never had children, so our cat is like a kid to us and Mousy the rat, and my turtle and fishies. LOL

Yes actually! We have as wasp nest outside our window but sometimes they get in, and they can't find their way out.
I use to panic and hit them with half a can of wasp spray!
Now I will go over to them and show them the way out.

When those suckers get in the house which isn't too often, I grab a can of hairspray and keep spraying. I feel horrible doing it, but they scare the heck out of me!

Where is that Cat ?
Is there any pudding left? I could use it after five hours of shoveling the dang heavy snow.

Last time I saw the cat, he was running away from the pixies. They kept forcing him to play with Sophie the ferret and ferrets wear the hell out of cats. Ah, there he is, fast asleep in his soft little bed. All is well.

Pudding, what pudding? Whispers to the pixies to make pudding and fast! Wipes the remaining evidence off her face.

Just a flying visit to wish all of our shed family a Happy New Year when it comes.

I shall be gigging tonight (but only up to about 10pm!!) after that... I may have a dram or three!

2015 was... Interesting!

I've done a lot. Achieved a bit. Experienced some.
I've laughed, cried (a wee bit), loved (a lot!).
I've lost some friends, and made some anew.
I've developed new skills I never knew I had.
I've enjoyed it for the most part, and intend to make next year even better.
No resolutions, just a determination to focus more on doing stuff that helps make life better (for myself and for those around me,) and less on doing stuff that doesn't.

Steer your own ship folks, because life is just one big journey!
Choose your own destination, set the course and enjoy the ride.

I'm staying home tonight and going out to eat with my Sister, her family and my Brother tomorrow for lunch.

I spent New Years Eve here on ATS mostly and some time on facebook and chatting on Skype with LoneCloudhopper. It was funny, because he reached the new year an hour before me, so we had to say Happy New Year twice. LOL

Going out for a nice lunch with some family members tomorrow. I wonder if you are all drunk as a skunk by now? LOL

I suppose the pixies and faeries will have to make strong coffee in the morning for everyone.

I gotta tell the truth, It was so damn cold (14 dg.) we only spent around 2 hours out there. Our lanterns gave us some warmth, but we gave in to the cold and went to an area pub and spent some time there. Then this JA$$ started shooting off his gun about a mile away, and we decided it was time to head home. LOL!!!
