Timely, that pudding sounds awesome!

Jacy, congratulations to your daughter on her engagement! How exciting! Yeah, I have that rain mixed with snow crap too. Doesn't look like much out there and I hope it's slushy and not slippery and icy.

Funny how we can't wait for a new year to begin, yet when that year ends everyone can't wait to leave that one behind and get to another new one. LOL I do wish a Happy New Year to everyone and truly hope it is a happy one!

I always want to hibernate in the Winter and just stay curled up beneath ultra soft blankets and not poke my head out until Spring. Oh well, guess I'll get dressed now and start the day. I keep staring at the screen hoping a cup of coffee will magically appear. I guess I'll have to go get one myself. Sure wish I had our pixies and faeries in the real world. They like doing nice things for us.

Sorry I have been in and out. I have been fighting a bit of sickness. Not really sure what is going on. About 6 years ago I had surgery where they put mesh in my stomach, it went really bad. I rejected the mesh and have had to have follow up surgeries since then. Now I am fighting something else, maybe related; we just aren't sure. I have dropped down to 125 (my normal weight is 155), all while still eating 3800 calories a day!!!! The nausea is starting to get the best of me. I am just getting so bummed. I had an appointment this morning and they are going to try to send me to Cleveland Clinic. I don't know if I'm excited to get answers or totally freaked over the travel and doctor's visits again. When all of this started I was going to dr's all the time. It got so old. I have never had to travel like this to go to the doctor so I don't really know what to expect. I hope I don't go all that way for a 15 min appt. Has anyone had to travel for Dr? Do they try to get everything done while you are there or do you have to make multiple trips like every other Dr I have been to?

Sorry to just fly in and unload. I will swing by this evening when my brain has slowed down for proper hellos.

Jacy - An engagement!!! How exciting!
Night - Please be careful on the roads.
Timely - You have pudding?!? YUM!

Hi Jessie! I hope the doctors can get You well! Ask if they can tend to all Your concerns so You won't have to make multiple trips to see them...
It won't hurt to ask, right?

Night...I want to hibernate thru this weather too! Every year I hate it more.

Martin...Sorry to hear about the health concerns hunny! How far do you have to travel to your appointment? I've had to drive 1-2 hours to see a specialist...my own family doctor is an hour away.
(Try weed for the nausea!)

Thanks for the congrats everybody...

Wis and Bug, so sorry I missed you both earlier. I had a long nap earlier to catch up on some sleep, then was feeling rather depressed. After winding down from Christmas celebrations which were beautiful and fun, I was missing Mom and wished she were here. The house will end up being sold and surely we'll need to move come Spring or Summer. The last thing in the world I want to do is move away from this place. It's one thing when people move because they want to, but when you have to it's a different story. I smoke and have pets so good luck with that I guess. GRRRRR

I know how that feels. I've had to move so many times when I didn't want to.
My thoughts and prayers are with you on this.
As much as I dreaded it I always ended up happy where I ended up.
All my love and hugs and prayers.

Hello. just wondering Bug, your name implies that you communicate with bugs.
It could just be that you have chosen a very unique name, but..

I actually do "talk" to bugs among other things.
Ants I find are the easiest. We have an agreement. If they stay out of my cupboards I feed them out side. Yes I know it sounds rather odd and you may now be picturing me in a haze of incense muttering incantations.
I am the most down to earth, both feet deep in the ground, plain being. Rather boring too.

Your avatar I so adorable.

We are kindred spirits!
It's so wonderful to meet someone else who talks to bugs.
And yes as my name implies I do communicate with bugs.
People may think I'm little nutty, but I do think bugs are sentient and can understand what we are saying.
And they can't deny the bugs do respond by doing what I tell them!
Sometime I'll have to write more about it!

I only talk to cute or unusual looking bugs. I once told a praying mantis that it looks like an alien of some kind, kinda creepy, but really cool at the same time. I'm not kidding! LOL Oh, I lied, I do talk to bugs that aren't cute or unusual...spiders! if I see them in the house I tell them to stay in their corner or else. Though usually I just kill them. They really, really freak me out! LOL

Yes I tell spiders to stay put too. But since I talk to them they aren't nearly as scary.
Speaking of unusual bugs, we filmed this bug,
this past summer.
It ran straight towards the camera every time we put the camera by it.
We never did figure out what this bug was.

Helloooo.
Gordi are you drowning in those floods?
Martin that is just ridiculous. The amount of stress is enough to make you ill even if you weren't.
They have to figure out what is wrong. 3500 cal. a day is sufficient for endurance sports.
Night I missed that you have to move soon. So sorry. I do relate to Bugs comment though and I have a little amusing tale that I will try to keep short.

Fifteen years ago when I came to this state to check out my options and see which area I wished to live in I used many days just driving around to get a feel of my surroundings.
On one of these little adventures I drove through a town thinking as I passed through "Well this is the last place I want to live" (Hmmm just now I am wondering, may be it is the last place) Hmmm
Well fast forward ten years later I ended up living there, because the universe gave me no other choice.
Three cats and a dog is too much for most people but my land owners have proved to be the best people in the world.
I live in a hobbit hole but I won't trade a it for a mansion.
Three times we have gone into shelter together during tornadoes.
I tell "the nice people" at church when they ask "Who they are" , " They will be in heaven before any of us here"

Life is so odd and twisted, so terrifying at times, so wonderful when you get a smile.
It was a very short version.

Where is that Cat ?
Is there any pudding left? I could use it after five hours of shoveling the dang heavy snow.

Hon that is a spider. I think. No bug it has antennas. Oh an alien. I will go find it. Not that one

As I have said before I don't want the cats harmed and they play with those critters so they die in the house or get put out side. Do you have any success talking to wasps? I hate obliterating them but they are so aggressive.
Not honey bees, wasps.

I thought I had to work today. Went in and was shortly sent home. I guess there was some big order that was cancelled or some sort of misunderstanding.

Ooh Kat, I love when that happens!

OH And by the way.... I thought that was Timely's Dog, but since no one claimed him I took ownership. Good security dog. But he has terrible gas issues.

Your dog is lovely, ( maybe try putting some "Bean-o in his dog food? lol)

Yes actually! We have as wasp nest outside our window but sometimes they get in, and they can't find their way out.
I use to panic and hit them with half a can of wasp spray!
Now I will go over to them and show them the way out.

I'm sorry to hear about your health problem.

I've never had to travel to a doctor but I imagine that they would admit you for testing?

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will do that too with the wasps unless they get too aggressive, but I do wish I could tell them to stay away.
My cats won't survive a wasp sting. Angel my deaf white beauty queen thinks they are toys.

Your avatar is so cute.

Honey, I am so sorry you have to deal with this medical crap! I had to travel to another city a million times for my chemo treatments, tests, Cancer Doctor and surgeon. I barely had the strength to get out of bed and dressed, felt like I might pass out, queasy, weak and so very tired. It was a nightmare and I don't know how I did it, but I did. It might have been 15 or 20 minutes each way, but after sitting through hours of chemo, it was an all day affair, especially if I had two appointments on the same day. I pray they fix you up like new and fast! HUGS!
