Yeah I'm back

It's been a tough year or so, been working my butt off and building my relationship with my kids. Had to take a lot of time out for RL, but it all paid off ............................. so far.

I smile whenever I see your name in here. Oh Lord, terrified that I may have to eventually move, depending on who ends up buying this house/apartment building and what the rent will be...have a Doctor's appointment the 1st of December and that always freaks me out because they always seem to find something wrong...miss my Mom like crazy...but, I'm hanging in there. Well Night, Your post about the stuffed pumpkin prompted me to think about Thankgiving dinner. I mentioned the stuffed pumpkin idea to the boys, and it sounded intriguing to them. Soooooo.....

The recipe I have here has alot of ingredients, and it is a bit of work. But this will be our stuffing for the meal and also part of my centerpiece.

I must say expensive too. Pumpkins are not cheap this year. (Some sort of fungus got to the crops). But I wanted to try and make it, to see if it was worth it. We are having some new people join our family dinner this year. Yes, one of the boys, has a girlfriend. OH GOD I HATE THIS. (Sorry guy's if your reading this. You know what I mean )

Anyway it's in the oven now. I will let you all know how it came out. Who knows, this may be a new family tradition.

This recipe has more involved instructions.

I don't fry chicken much anymore. Makes too much of a mess. But when I do, I make sure I use Crisco shortening. I don't know if they have that in the UK. But just make sure you use a good shortening.

Also, this recipe call for a paper bag. I use a plastic bag. The paper bag tends to leak out the flour mixture and thats more mess.
