An octopus at Auckland's Sea Life Aquarium is making waves with its surprising photography skills thanks to a special camera rig provided by Sony. The remarkable creature, named Rocky, needed only three training sessions before it could easily snap pictures of delighted tourists visiting the aquarium.

Basically, they made a camera and trained the octopus to take pics with it. I don't know whether or not it realizes what it's doing (I doubt it) but I think it's a cool idea.

Here's video of Rocky operating the camera.

Here is behind the scenes video

That is freaky and amazing.
He sure looked like he KNEW what he was doing.

He put his tentacle in the slot and pushed the button...

Just crazy. He seemed to lose interest pretty quickly...

I thought it was, too.
Yeah, I don't think he was very into it. In the behind the scenes video they said that he smashed the first camera to bits.

My daughter said "Selfie Sunday"...
Yes, I show the kids some of the stuff on here LOL

Now that you said he broke one maybe they just wore him down and he figured he should "do what the "humans" want and they will leave me alone!"
