I just bought two large bags of dried figs.. NOM NOM and you are NOT going to ruin my enjoyment of them. Fresh figs, even more so.

I always wondered why it was crunchy on the inside, at least now I know I'm fulfilling my protein quota.

You're really not saying anything that hasn't been stated in this thread already many, many times by me and other people so im not sure why you keep repeating it. All figs can be pollinated by wasps, some don't need it though. But even these quite often get pollinated by wasps which produced a better fig.

There really is no need for you to keep posting the same info over and over again. But thanks for your input anyway.

The crunchiness is the seeds within ... The wasps would have been absorbed and apparently no more ...
Yes I love Figs too ... Enjoy enjoy

Took a swig of coke once that a wasp had flown into.
Didn't realize it until It all came back up.
Stung me several times.
Pretty miserable experience.

Got two fig trees in the back yard.
I eat em fresh off the trees all the time.
Wasps are much tastier in a fig.

I'd rather eat dates. So then are figs a good source of protein ?

Another one of those things I did not want to know...

Is it a stretch then to assume you also do not want to know that the main ingredient used to make artificial raspberry & strawberry flavoring comes from a beaver's anus??? No, I am not kidding.

I really want to know what nutjob figured that out?!
Like, "Hey Bertha... taste this 'n tell me it don't taste jes' like a nice tangy raspberry!"

Like... gross me out the door already, am I right?!

Now I am freakin. We are destroying basic food groups here. Breakfast is going back to eggs and bacon.... ok , what kind of horror stories are going to come out of them?
