Choose to go into a public business, you gotta obey the civil laws against discrimination based on race/gender/etc.

Now, you can reject service on a case by case basis..a personal decision, but not to groups on how they were born.

Someone wears a t-shirt you don't like, reject..they can change their shirt if they want service. Someone the wrong color, gender, or sexual orientation? no..not happening. we in the west seen what happens with such systems, and people are assh==s overall. the rules are in place because there are still a lot of primates in clothes that require strict guidelines in order for them to play nice.

killing people whether majority or minority, is the epitome of the problem we are discussing. people are born and within 5 years have already developed the personality they will have for the rest of their lives. disposing of them because you don't appreciate their personalities, is the same damn thing as killing gays for being gay.

I have to agree with the OP not a day goes by.

Even in this thread the hatred towards me is showing forth all because I conscientiously object to the gay lifestyle.

ATS is known for it conscientious objections to many things but some members are totally intolerant to a Christians conscientious objections to gay lifestyle.

You can object to just about anything else but the GLTB lifestyle.

In the sense that a lack of empathy is detriment to human survival.

eg No protests against illegal wars will lead to the deaths of people abroad...
If those protests don't happen, such as the threads the OP despises, we are left with a group defending themselves while painted as the enemy...

i think that's the point unspoken, of this thread:

why not just let heteros be heteros? gays be gays? christians be christians ? and so on? the op seems to be saying it seems like mass brainwashing. problem is, once you brainwash people to your view, they will eventually break out of it, and return to their former view. the decision has to be made as a result of a personal choice, a change of perspective the individual arrived at without coercion, not one that is forced. you can appeal to people, of course. but if we have learned nothing after 7000+ years of civilization, you can't force people to do anything and have them be totally convinced of it. coercion + human being = pie in the sky eventuality
