I don't remember this at all but I loved George. Now I'm missing him. Such a gentle soul. My favorite line from HELP was when a fan asked George if he was a mod or a rocker and he answered very sincerely I'm a mocker.

Ok just looked at what I'd written a while back and I have to say I was not kissing George I was missing him. Lol. I just luv auto correct. Note the homage to the Beatles and the 60s with my LUV.

And I'm pretty sure that's John in drag as the nanny pushing the pram in the beginning of the video.

No I do not remember Lennon doing it.

Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys was number one of that era though.

I think you're right about that. I couldn't get a screen grab because I'm on my phone, but I did a comparison of the two of them. The reason I think it's Lennon is the nose. Most of the pics of lennon were straight on. Very few profiles. I think it because he had a "hook" nose. Maybe someone can put up a side by side?

Great catch!

Imagine was John's song. George died of cancer he wasn't killed.

But now just what about Imagine do you think would get John killed?

What happened to the vid? I did a short detour to look up Mark David Chapman which is funny because I just watched Conspiracy Theory last night with the whole MKUltra, Catcher in the Rye thing and I come back and the video is gone. Wuh happened?

Crackerbox Palace is all George Harrison. It was on his album 33 1/3. John Lennon did not perform the song, probably ever. The former Beatles did hang out together after the break up. There are instances of the former band members playing on each others songs and I am sure in music videos. Ringo Starr's album "Ringo" had every Beatle on it.
Lennon and McCartney were very estranged after the break up and didn't associate with each other.

Oh and the guy pushing the baby stroller is not John Lennon. Neil Innes played the nurse pushing George in a pram.

Not true, they had a boozy jam session during Lennon's infamous Lost Weekend (actually about 18 months).

Oh, and that was after Lennon's How Do You Sleep? which was critical of McCartney.

A lot of these stories of them not getting along are a bit of an old wives' tale.

The guys seemed to like to play games with the media.

For example, Harrison was critical of McCartney in some interviews, and yet they both regularly socialised together after the Beatles broke up.
