Ha! Big surprise BIN are going with this too.

I know many here would like to believe that the US would actually carry out a unprovoked nuclear attack on another country, but the odds of that happening are pretty low, ridiculously low in fact..

I actually believe in this story,

Well, you've said you don't believe it, then edited it to say you 'don't and do' believe it, anything is possible. Then you change it to be adamant that you believe the story... Maybe make up your mind before you make the thread next time? Just a thought.

EDIT

Seeing as your story just fell right into the HOAX bin, do you still believe it?

Idk it seems pretty sketchy wouldn't bombs be flying out of Russia if news like this was real...

plus if it were true I highly doubt they would release dangerous info like hey we were gonna bomb you guys in a surprise attack, but it's OK cause we started the person who didn't push the button...

Something like that seems well... top secret.

See this is where Sorcha Faal can convince people their stories are true, only if those people don't bother to fact check what's being said.

Captain Heather Cole is a real person, and she is...was a commanding officer of the strategic communications wing. Part of what they do is allow the president to communicate with submarines and other strategic forces, including nuclear forces.

What you could do is make a new member feel stupid for posting something from a source we already know is naff... Or you could politely educate them.

Yes of course, all you clever guys were born with the knowledge. Well done. Must make you feel big eh?

Well played ATS

At first there were no links - sounded like nonsense.

However, given the edited in extra links, I suggest to the OP to let this thread die in this here HOAX bin, but start a new op using some other sources, perhaps the Navy Times, however - however they add that;

"The relief was due to deficiencies in her performance that were identified in the findings of the investigation," Groeneveld said. The deficiencies had nothing to do with TF-124's Strategic Nuclear Forces mission, she said, but instead were "cultural issues" within the wing itself.

Sorry OP if I came off sounding harsh, I just had no idea where you heading with the lack of links and saying you did, then didn't, then didn't and did and finally do believe in it! You sound like you were honestly confused I guess.

No worries, it is hard given how many are out there spinning BS stories on the internet, And14(357?) is right, we did kind of jump on you a bit unnecessarily. Honestly sorry mate.

But there may be some kind of conspiracy here, just keep away from Sorcha Faal (or however it's spelt). So take your time, but keep an open mind and try and fact check as much as you can. I think there is a list of the known hoax sites on ATS somewhere! I can't find it...
But here is one about how many channels are faking UFO's on youtube.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

There is a similar thread somewhere about 'news' sources.

Your own link denies that it's over nukes.
It sounds more like she had problems with race or gender.

Only winners get sprinkles. We need to assume that all members are above grade school level and don't need gold stars and smiley faces on work that is under par. The motto here after all is deny ignorance. Not pat it's hand and say that's ok. You'll do better next time.
Maybe I'm being cold but I don't think people learn from coddling. You just don't get an A if you answer incorrectly.

To the OP, Live and learn huh? And this can be a tough crowd I know I've had a new one ripped a few times already. Welcome. I know your next thread will be better researched. Sorry if these guys were rough on you.
