This poll is a wet dream for US haters.
Seems to be a lot of them according to the poll.

Did we need a poll on ATS to flush them out? Its not like they only come out of the wood work on rare occasion...

I voted Italy. Give them power and their creativity in torture and persecution are endless. Look at Rome at its height, they breed some of the most heinous acts imaginable.

Or in other words, you couldn't think of a decent contribution, so you just dissed everyone who doesn't see things your way.

As I've stated many times over the years here, the USA is part of the world, it is not THE world.

Different people from different countries see things in a different way, and living in a country and having concerns over the way its run and/or its foreign policy doesn't make someone a "hater", it simply makes them concerned.

The only way i would buy the results of this poll is if we could actually see the names of the people who voted.

I support your sentiment.

People who dropped nukes on Japan are the scum. History was distorted in schools to the point that nuclear bombing was thought that saved the world. Generation of degenerates was raised. Mindless drones. Nothing human left. The scum.

Burn in hell.

Regardless of the circumstances that led up to the decision to bomb Pearl; it happened, the consequences that followed were severe, but war is hell for a reason.

Since this whole post is riddled w/ cliches (I am not innocent) let's throw one out there for you; "don't want nothin', don't start nothin'".

The US by a large margin.

It's started hundreds of wars ans millitary coups over the last 50 years and every country involved has turned into complet chaos. No other country comes close at current times.

This link would help make a better decision. It has all the countries military data, and you can compare them as well.

P.S who ever voted for Canada, thank you so much that made me laugh hysterically
(I live in Canada, we literally have like 5 tanks I believe)

It's pretty simple when just looking at the defence budget and looking which country meddles the most outside her borders with force and always using words like freedom, terrorism which are very generic and broad statements and act it's the beacon of hope but spreading chaos and less freedom as a result. If you can't see that you surely are blind like some love makes you blind as well often.

Who wants to start taking bets that either Israel or the USA comes out top on this poll

And you'd be wrong.....u.s and Russia it seems.

Given our current leader, and our inevitable next leader, Mrs. Clinton, I have to reluctantly go with the US...due to our own duplicity in the Middle East, our near Cold War with Russo-China, and the way our economic success or failure creates a domino effect in the world market. In addition, our inaction regarding ISIS, and our mere existence being enough of a cause to unite terrorists and fanatics....and we are certainly the biggest threat to humanity.

But, too bad. Nobody else is stepping up to the plate to take our world policeman badge, and no matter what, we're always going to project power and defend our political and economic interests. Unlike most, I simply don't apologize for it. Everyone else does the same, they look out for their own interests. The current and future administration however, does so, but seems to also want to prolong it for some unfathomable reason.

But, they aren't stupid. There's a reason for the inaction. And THAT is what should really keep us up at night. The WHY of it.

Starting to think that this website is Russia state-owned. Should put up another poll asking people where they are from, bet it matches side by side...though time zones tell us a lot.

I'm in the US.

Personally, I think simultaneously, we are both the biggest threat and the biggest hope for humanity.
Sounds contradictory, but really, the rest of the world's fate is tied to ours. So, if we succeed, good for all. If we fail, they all come with us.

For example, let's say there's a world war, and somehow, China and Russia wipe out the US. Now what?

China doesn't have their main customer to buy their products, so they fail.
Many nations that rely on US food exports starve, so they fail.
The Middle East turns into an extremely hot warzone (likely with nukes and biologics involved).

It's a losing scenario, all around. So while different parties posture, etc., our very existence and mutual reliance is both the threat and source of hope for us as a species.

I think your vision is really american...

1st - China, as the rest of the world, can make a sources economy instead that the actual free market economy...

2nd - countries eating your food (poor them!) can buy somewere..

3rd - "The Middle East turns into an extremely hot warzone (likely with nukes and biologics involved)."

4th - USA and some americans have to start thinking that the world can rule himself... USA have near a CONTINENT SO, PLEASE, STOP BULLYING&MESSING AROUND.. NOT SO HARD..
