As a way to better understand my functional purpose I find myself deconstructing and dividing functions into systems, a universal template that can be applied upon any construct, system or idea.

Irrelevant to the sequential processes in which we arrive at a specific portrayed product, irrelevant to the said functionality and packaging of such, one can place that aside and take the sequence apart, see what intent lead to the next and see all branches of Why and How the decisions were made - As a measure of ones body language can pry apart ones intentions, so too the body of organizations can be seen with clarity.

Bypassing ones own socio-cognitive filters which generally overlay any information coming in or out of the self, is necessary to learn openly and fully. Often the information at hand gets lost due to the differences between conveniently-pitted polar opposite archetypes of all sectors respectively, where truth is a blurry line. Bobbing for apples is hard with so many oranges in the mix! MAN forbid you find out that, apple or orange, your bobbing for the same Man. .

I feel man is three-fold in nature; First-self (body, physical) - Second-self (mind, rationale) - Third-self (observer, neutral).

The 1st conforms to the 2nd - the bridge between 1st and 2nd being the nervous system, the senses being services of the 1st. The 2nd's interest is to fulfill the 1st's wants above all else, even to the detriment of the 1st's well-being. Generally oft, the 2nd lingers in the desires of the 1st's fantasies and lusts only to serve through the stimuli of the 1st's whim, quickly manifesting mental diminishing returns and chemical dependencies into an obedient pre-ordained placeholder - inside the box they think, lay gilded a special corner just for them.

When one rules over the 1st-self with the 2nd, one can begin to differentiate the wants-of-1st and the needs-of-2nd and begin to appropriate life in accordance to responsible abundance and satisfied unexpectancy and with acknowledgement of the senses true functions, that is to serve biological insurance. To NOT serve solely to the senses of the 1st that lay wake the consumer-commodity-stricken eye for eye attitude that stagnates the hearts of men. Served, to be by sense.

A 3rd-self, an observer porthole that never shuts off. Bridge between the 2nd and 3rd being the Pineal gland. It doesn't use language, its all-ness transcends placeholders and depending on the individuals link between the 1st self and 3rd self (bridge being the heart, antenna for the 3rd) will depend on how well the individual can interpret or hear the 3rd.

In and out of awareness you may be of it. You may find yourself having a crisis of conscience, the 2nd self no longer compliant with itself, now over-contemplates all in/outgoing stimuli to the 1st, as it tries coming to grips with itself. The realization of the 3rd, being the non-voice/feeling that prompts or instinctually queues the 2nd to second-question itself. The overseer, neutral always - guiding with, without and above, below..

I would like to hear your own opinions or takes on the human condition, what say?

You are describing in a convoluted way that which can be summarised using Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

www.simplypsychology.org...

Maslow wanted to understand what motivates people. He believed that people possess a set of motivation systems unrelated to rewards or unconscious desires.

Maslow (1943) stated that people are motivated to achieve certain needs. When one need is fulfilled a person seeks to fullfil the next one, and so on.

The earliest and most widespread version of Maslow's (1943, 1954) hierarchy of needs includes five motivational needs, often depicted as hierarchical levels within a pyramid.

maslow's hierarchy of needs five stage pyramide

This five stage model can be divided into basic (or deficiency) needs (e.g. physiological, safety, love, and esteem) and growth needs (self-actualization).

The deficiency, or basic needs are said to motivate people when they are unmet. Also, the need to fulfil such needs will become stronger the longer the duration they are denied. For example, the longer a person goes without food the more hungry they will become.

One must satisfy lower level basic needs before progressing on to meet higher level growth needs. Once these needs have been reasonably satisfied, one may be able to reach the highest level called self-actualization.

Every person is capable and has the desire to move up the hierarchy toward a level of self-actualization. Unfortunately, progress is often disrupted by failure to meet lower level needs. Life experiences including divorce and loss of job may cause an individual to fluctuate between levels of the hierarchy.

Maslow noted only one in a hundred people become fully self-actualized because our society rewards motivation primarily based on esteem, love and other social needs.

a reply to: theabsolutetruth

Its even simpler than that,

Disinformation, desire, delusion and denial.

ETA: To clarify, we are programmed externally, and in denial about our desire to satisfy our delusional needs, based on that programming.

No one wants to admit we are driven by external influences.

Some Descartes in there too as you explain the interaction between the mind and body as being bridged by the nervous system. I struggle with this, it sounds logical but after all, the nervous systems are the physical and mind is non-physical...

Could you not also split the 2nd self in to subconscious and conscious - the desires of which are idfferent. The Conscious is influenced to become the consumer and the subconscious keeps the innate desires (food, sex etc) ticking over - but is also influenced to become a consumer??

Christ, wish I'd never read this. Didn't really fancy thinking today.
