I am hyped to see your answers.

What things would you be willing to die for?

Before posting, I really want you to imagine a real-life situation. No bollocks, just as real as possible.
I know it's difficult or maybe impossible. But give me your best shot.

and remember,...if you don't stand for something, you might fall for anything

Choose wisely

Family. My wife, kids, etc... That's it. The rest of you are on your own.

To die for something is to die for nothing.

While I don't care about cash....if someone tried to take the last bit of cash i had, i would sooner die trying to defend it than go home to tell the wife I got punked out like that. No...im not a thug or anything...its just an expedient term.

Obviously, my wife/kids/mom/dog Sasha would have my life laid down for them. My nephew, too.

But my marriage. That relationship. That is the one thing I will viciously attack anything that even has a hint of threatening it.

I'd be willing to risk my life in a lot of situations but that's different than facing certain death.

Facing certain death, if my life insurance were paid up, I'd die to save just about anybody. If not, probably just my family and closest friends (who I know would take care of my family). If my insurance policy was really good (like millions of dollars worth), I'd probably be willing to die to get a cat out of a tree or get a kid's frisbee from a shark tank.

I'm always so impressed by you BFFT. Seriously. Your wife is a lucky gal.

I'm the same as any other here... I would gladly lay down my life for my faith, my daughter, my husband, and my mother. I would likely lay it down just as easily for anyone else's child if the need ever arose.

Other than that? Not too much else is worth it IMO. Certainly not any materialistic possession I have.

Family and Freedom!

Freedom also means I would die for those fighting for freedom along side me.

"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

Family. I'd die for my family and for anyone I was fighting with.

But I'd rather live and let "the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

AugustusMasonicus already hit the highlights with bacon and scotch.

For my children alone, I would gladly lay down my life. I would stand and fight to defend my entire family and my animals......probably anyone's family or animals.

Family, and any child really because I do have a heart, I won't say screw everyone else because I couldn't stand to choose my life over a child, if I ever had to choose.

Apart from that if someone begged me to help them and they really were in a life or death situation, then I'd probably help them too, though if I was going to die myself 100% then that would literally be suicide, but if I had a 50-50 chance I could save us both then I'd help for sure.

I'd want the original. It would bring back good memories of being a kid right before the end.

My husband, employees (love them like family), my critters, my convictions. To keep all of my Constitutional Rights.

Note: NOT necessarily in order above. Sometimes my hubby just sets my back teeth.
