A 21-year-old woman, who attended a prestigious military academy high school, has been charged with the murder of a married lawyer found stabbed to death in an upscale DC hotel.
Jamyra Gallmon, of Washington D.C., was arrested on Wednesday, according to police.
She has been charged with first-degree felony murder while armed over the killing of 30-year-old David Messerschmitt.
Police had released surveillance video of a 'person of interest' who was seen entering the Donovan Hotel shortly after Messerschmitt texted his wife Kim Vuong at 7.45pm to tell her he would be home in an hour on February 9.
Messerschmitt never returned and the next day he was found dead after being stabbed in the back at his hotel room with 'various credit cards strewn about'.

I guess the shades of gray are from the intended context.

Could be a setup - the kid does not really fit a picture of a cool headed killer.

The setup screams it was all done by a pro, and then stuff dispersed to give a context for her involvement.

And in that case, question is, was it some of the clients, enemies or was it the wife who had found out this man was serving left and right, and wanted to cash-out the guy.

Could be. She just looks dressed for wrongdoing, not sex.

ETA: And being married who is he going to tell about being robbed?

What's the connection of 50 Shades here? There is none. This is clearly some guy murdered in a hotel room while planning to have sex with someone, but mentioning a book/movie that has absolutely no connection to the crime in any way somehow makes it more "titillating"?

People have sex every day, millions of them, kinky or not, in hotel rooms or not, with their partners or not... are we going to see every crime of a remotely sexual nature for the next 20 years all published with tenuous links to this story as though it means anything?

Holy misleading headline and comments Batman.

He had no connection to 50 shades, and you trying to draw a connection to it is a big reach. Your headline makes it sound as if the attorney is somehow connected to the book and/or film and/or author when he's not in any way, shape or form.

Secondly, the woman is not "an officer." She graduated from a military high school and is not in any branch of the military. She was briefly an unarmed security guard, but the company says she hasn't worked for them since sometime in 2014.

The attorney posted an Craigslist ad. She answered it with the intention of robbing him. Good christ, try posting a fact of two instead of just making it up as you type, yea?

I learned one thing from 50 shades: give a girl (a virgin) a helicopter ride and she'll give it up instantly after. That was what mr. Grey did.

Not the movie or the book but the sex part..gotta see some connect..

They way your headline is written is utterly and completely misleading.

The only "connection" is that a man had alternative sexual behaviors and you named a book that has alternative, but not the same, sexual behaviors.
