It's just a power pole. The poor quality of the footage and its bad compression by videosharing have produced fake smoke trail, it's an artifact. Here a comparison by Google Street View (Highway 136 from Alma to Republican City):

Excellent find!

Edit: the top of the pole is a close match, and the noise would by typical of the tire noise on the wet road echoing off the pole, but the pole is missing. Seems suspicious.

Thanks, good find, and all the objects in the foreground seem to match up very well with the original video. Still strange that the pole didn't show up at all..........but case closed in my books.

Really, camera is facing the road, person decides to look at storm and then when he or she turns to the thunderstorm with the camera, seconds later the UFO flies past? Why does the camera not follow the object? Typical CGI scenario.
