My sincerest sympathies. The loss of a fur-child is as hard as any other loss.

Rest assure that she's waiting patiently on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge for her mom with all our other dog children.

Stay strong.

Hang in there BH, she had a GREAT life because of you, your husband, and your pack. Nothing can take that away...

My deepest condolences.

Thanks, you guys... It means a lot.

I had a little cry today, but otherwise, I'm doing OK. I'm taking Jaia nearly everywhere with me now and giving him more attention. He's helped me a LOT through this.

Oh Hon I am so, so sorry to hear this! I know she was your baby. She was so blessed to have you for a mama. I'm so sad to hear about her passing but I know she had a great life in a loving, warm home.

I am so, so sorry for your loss B'asia seems like she was such a vibrant, intelligent, and happy dog. You post about her brought me to tears. A few year ago my horse, who I'd owned for 20 years, died suddenly and I remember the loss being so profound that it physically hurt at times.

Eventually when you think of B'asia and you will feel joy rather than sadness, but it takes time. It's amazing the impact our animals can have on our loves in the relatively short time they are with us.
