inuit elders warn NASA

So Inuit elders are warning NASA and the world that the earth has shifted , which is what is causing all the wacky weather. The native American's depend on their ability to predict weather to provide for their families and survive in harsh conditions. The weather has changed, and it is affecting how these indigenous live, how they survive. They are far more in tune with the earth than the rest of us sheeple, and their concern is real enough to perk up anyone's ears

They should be careful, the IRS and EPA might smack them down for offering a competing theory.

I read about this awhile ago
Inuit elders sharing information with NASA
I wonder how flat earth believers would explain this.

That's what dolluka linked.
Besides that nobody is listening, why not bringing it up again & again, perfectly in time for blood moon and dooms day.

How is it are there any official statements on the axis shifting? I can't find anything.

Do we not just need to look up at the stars, or the sun for that matter, to know that we haven't shifted? No guessing is required on this folks.

Global warming?

I wonder if it's due to the universe expanding... How else would the entire Earth shift??

I do believe that the inuit can go to the, grocery stores just like the rest of us. And we all know the earth shifted with the last couple of 9.0 earthquakes. Chile ,Japan

I mean no disrespect to the Innuit, but dont you think NASA would have been among the first to know if the Earth had in fact shifted?

It hasnt shifted orbit,or suddendly wobbled on its axis for the simple reason that all the stars would be in a different position, and everyone's GPS devices would be giving the wrong position-neither of which has happened.

If there is anything to this story at all,it could be that there is some kind of atmospheric change over Innuit territory, which may have altered the refraction of light, thus making it appear as though the sun rises/sets in a slighty different position than normal.

We've had some pretty big EQ all over the world but there hasn't been one that has affected the ENTIRE earth on that level. Probably if New Madrid or Yellowstone go off but other than that.. we haven't seen one of a global scale.

Does the OP think that the Indians live in teepees and hunt deer and buffalo for food? Dude they go into their heated houses when it gets cold and they shop at the grocery store for food.
Maybe some Amazon or some African tribes still hunt and a percentage of the Adirondacks but the rest of us go to markets or in developed countries to the grocery stores.

Ah, I see this story is making it's rounds again here on ATS. It's actually quite old (started back in 2012).

If the Earth's axis were to shift significantly enough to affect the weather, and for the sun to be sitting and rising in the wrong place:

1) GPS would not work anymore.

2) All the stars would be in the wrong place.....and their not. Their Right Ascension and Declination coordinates are the same.

3) The sun would be rising and setting in the wrong place EVERY WHERE. Not in just one place.

4) If the Earth shifted on it's axis, there would be no covering it up, or hiding it. It would be very apparent to literally hundreds of millions of people.

Oh thanks

The March 11, 2011, great earthquake in Japan may have shortened the length of Earth days and shifted its axis.

But unnoticeable for us, it seems. 2011. a bit late to yell doom, now.

There are still some places in Alaska where it is close to subsistence and you do have to lay in a sufficient store of food because you don't have, can't count on regular supplies through the winter months. As such it is still very important to be tied in to the land and be able to read it.

Uh, from your same article...

The calculations also show the Japan quake should have shifted the position of Earth's figure axis (the axis about which Earth's mass is balanced) by about 17 centimeters (6.5 inches), towards 133 degrees east longitude. Earth's figure axis should not be confused with its north-south axis; they are offset by about 10 meters (about 33 feet). This shift in Earth's figure axis will cause Earth to wobble a bit differently as it rotates, but it will not cause a shift of Earth's axis in space—only external forces such as the gravitational attraction of the sun, moon and planets can do that.

Emphasis added. So, no, it would not affect the way the stars in the sky, where the sun rises and sets, and so forth are seen. eriktheawful explained it quite simply.
