Oh the irony....those things were mostly due to Govt in the first place.

Jim Crow laws, segregation....

And at no point does the Progressive march even come close to "progress", unless progress means more Govt control.

And how do these things make life better except for the white Christian male?

Wrong thread to discuss my politics. Society is in constant movement. I don't support stagnant.

Progress is definitely not standing still and allowing discrimination.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Because I definite don't agree with you.

'a sign of' - is not saying you are... And 'binary brain' is a light hearted dig I use for people who think in false dialectics... You must have had worse..! Your 'thought experiment' is meaningless... My logic correctly refuted your assertion that 'state and individual freedom' are mutually exclusive.. get over it.. Anarchy is not the only 'true freedom'.. and I suspect it would end in the unprotected being abused.

Your logic. I see.

Logic, even yours, depends on premises.

Ask yourself, what were my premises?

Did you verify that those were correct statements?

If not "your logic" is faulty.

(You and I probably agree for the most part, but I'm in a snotty mood too this morning, so there you go, LOL)

*Looks around* You didn't answer my question.

When did I state I loved the laws we have?

Must have been that time you were justifying someone you arrested or wanted to arrest or something.

Do you love the laws we have? If not, why not?

Really. That is all ya got.

Okay okay okay.

No really, what else can you respond with?
Feeding Prisoners with the money? And don't forget to add the "for the children" quip. That is always a heart string puller.

Hey, you don't like what JC said, you talk to him not to me.

For the record, you've never indicated that you understand the concept of Christian charity on here, so, no one's holding you personally to it.

I'm talking to the good Christians in the gallery.

Best,

You probably don't want a cake from there anyway. I just read this.

rt.com...

" For cleaning, one should use water, three stones, or one's left hand. "

Somebody care to explain WHY????

One's left hand??? WHY!!!

No, no I don't. Most laws today are created to enforce existing laws.

A large number of laws are there just to control the masses.

Oh much sads....great jab though.

Hey, here is a couple of questions for ya.

How much of your income do you donate to charity?

When did Jesus advocate Govt taking from people to give to others?

I will wait in the Non-Good Christian gallery.....while you pass YOUR judgement.

Seeing as the thread is based in Politics, as the Govt is working to control people would suggest otherwise.

One rule about good business is that you don't judge your customers but treat them with respect. The couple getting married will probably over the years be terrific, regular 'bread and butter' as well as 'special occasions' business.

Their recommendations will bring more and more people to your business. But of course if you want to fail then you insult people, ignore them and thinking you are superior to them watch their business go to another business which will eventually put you out of business.

I have few judgments there mac, I desperately try to stick to the facts.

My charitable giving? Probably 2-3% on an annual basis on average, mostly to the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Lost-N-Found Youth in Atlanta. How about you?

Yeah, you've asked me that question before. Look man, I'm not a specialist on the Jesus thing, as to me that's all about as real as the Easter Bunny or Star Wars ... if not less so. Jesus advocated paying one's taxes, I do know that, and as above and in several other places, he seemed to think it a good idea to help the hungry, the homeless, the sick, widows and your favorite, the children. He seemed to take that kinda personally, actually.

I do not discuss my over-all political belief on ATS. It's pretty extreme and would probably surprise you.

I am 100% separation of church and state. If government force is required to achieve that, then I support it.

You and I will just clog up this thread as there really is no discussion left. It is a stalemate.

My financial givings per year is 10%.

My time given is around 4-5hr weekly.

Jesus at no time stated his followers had to pay taxes.

Jesus made the statements that the individual is to take care of their fellow man. NOT the Govt.

Seeing that it is about control, and you push for a Govt of force, political backings is very important.

But, start a new thread and I will join in.

I don't start threads at this time, because I can't really be fully involved. It's not right to start a thread if you can't be fully committed to it.

Autistic grandson takes priority.

You see me primarily in social threads because it's mostly opinion based. A political thread would require research and factual backup.

Just out of curiosity is that your tithes?

Yeah we'll have to agree to disagree on the tax thing.

But as to "Jesus didn't say to..." He didn't talk about fire departments or hospitals either ... Should we give those up as well?

Disagree with what???!!?
Jesus never suggested taxes.

And what in the hell does fire stations have to do with Jesus.
Man, you truly are just spit balling now.
