So much truth in this post.

Why because he said a God that never existed? ANYTHING posted that says God in it or has any sense of God at all you attack...You are impossible to reason with, as many in this thread have plainly spelled out...You even revised a post from someone you were arguing with to make it your own words....Dude, you have a major problem!

I made the 'God doesn't exist' statement because I just don't fathom why an omnipotent being has to resort to waiting for specific natural celestial events to occur months apart (that have been occurring for millions of years), to cause another event which will greatly effect humans. This, of course, has to coincide with passages from a fairy-tale book written by man over hundreds, if not thousands, of years. If you're that powerful, why not intercede directly instead of using a bunch of obtuse signs to make your presence known, if things aren't going the way they should be, especially if I created it and set it in motion?

Because God doesn't work that way! That would lead everyone to believe and worship because he made his presence known to all in a way everyone would see...God is to be believed in by those who feel God in their lives, he is to be believed by those who let God into their lives....God has made his presence here on Earth and yet people still don't believe it because you don't believe in a book....Well, that book is God's words! People are correct in saying things might have been left out, or put together the way they wanted, does that change the fact that those words (no matter what order) are straight from Jesus' mouth to our ears?

There is a reason the devil exists also, for people to choose their own path and beliefs! Those who are worthy, those who believe in God, accept God into their lives and live with God interacting in their own personal lives, those are the people who will go to heaven! You don't need to go to church, you don't need to read or believe in the Bible, those are just tools to use to let God into your life....You don't need them to accept God!

Actually, my time zone skills are nill. It's a swing of 3 hours the other way. Stosh64 was nice enough to provide the correct time for viewing.

"In North America, skywatchers located in western Canada and the United States should have a great view of the eclipse, which will start at around 7:45 a.m. EST (4:45 a.m. PST, 1245 GMT), when the Earth's shadow begins to creep across the lunar disk."

I don't want to derail this thread and get off topic to argue about the existence of God. But in closing, just as I can't prove he doesn't exist, neither can you provide proof he does And as far as a book, it was written by man. How do you know it's 'God's words'? Let's see, God powers were supposedly on display via a burning bush, or enabling his son to turn water to wine and walk on water, yet he himself couldn't put pen to paper. And the term 'faith' is a coin termed by religions which exemplifies intellectual laziness. When they can't prove something, the fallback is to 'just have faith.' We can't prove Jonah lived for three days in the belly of a great fish, but just have faith he did.

No you just lurk and get threads off topic like ive said before. We don't need your opinion about everything religious if its going to completely throw mud at it. Its a lunar eclipse and yes people thoughout history have looked to the sky for signs from the heavens.

Yes, atheists think its stupid and we already know that you're an atheist/ excatholic.... put it in your profile or something that way you don't have to get upset at every religious thread.

its not worth it. breath

Whether you need my opinion or not, if I want to give I have every right to give it. So I did. What are you going to do to stop me? Whine about it?

I don't post in every religious thread by the way.

I mean you can keep telling yourself that but I don't even know how to respond to religious lunar eclipses correlations are stupid. I'm not going to stop you that's obvious but I will call you out just like you like to call out the "stupid" religious people.

Why are you so upset that a Christian finds it interesting that a lunar eclipse is happening on Easter weekend? Or are you trying to convert him to atheism? I'm just curious

So we got a bunch of doom porn for the first eclipse of the year and now you are posting one for the first lunar eclipse. Are we just going to see doom porn for every eclipse this year? What is so terrifying about eclipses anyways?

C'mon. Lighten up. Take it as a purely astronomical story, if it gets your panties in a bunch. Geez.

Anything that is remotely Christian related gets his panties in a wad. Haven't you figured that out by now?

He probably can't stand one of the funniest geek movies just because of this one scene alone.

There is a lot of skepticism surrounding whether there is any true validity to this series of blood moons.. And even as a Christian, I acknowledge this is a wise position ( to an extent). It's so important to take everything with a grain of salt now, because the disinformation circulating around has reached epic proportions.
All that being said, what nobody can deny is what history has shown us. The OP covered some of the bizarre events surrounding the appearance of the Blood Moons and the connection to the Jewish people and Israel.
All throughout the bible we see that God has made it abundantly clear that he will preserve and protect Israel at all costs. He's also made it clear that he will reveal signs in the stars and the sky for all to see. It's getting to a point now where if we were to be honest, we ALL know there is a connection here deep down. It's at that point where one would deliberately have to be ignorant to not AS least call out to the Lord, and do honest research to try to see if this connection is valid.
Just remember, we can have all the head knowledge in the world and still stay blind if our heart is set on staying stubborn. Maybe so many of us are in denial that God is real and moving, because if we were to acknowledge that, it would have to force us to re-evaluate our lifestyles and repent.

Jesus is coming back soon, he has fulfilled every single prophecy to date. Let go of your pride and realize that we're nearing the end, whether this Blood Moon phenomena plays out dramatically or not is uncertain. Even Jesus himself said he would come back when nobody expected it, and only the Father knows the hour.
It's time we stop looking to man for all the answers but rather to the Lord

Bless you all

It will be an interesting show indeed ... for anyone who cares to get up at about 4 am.

For the record, I don't expect anything to happen this time. If there is anything to it all, it's because of the set of four, not any one. But, hey, I could be wrong, and that's why I'm always prepared.

But it's clever of the anti-religious agenda crowd to keep pushing this narrative. For folks like our good friends, it just reinforces their positions and for those who might have been or might be on the fence with that nagging feeling that something is wrong in the world, it adds weight to the idea that this couldn't possibly be it. It also helps keep up divided.

I have to ask those of you who don't believe and are so quick to label those of us who do as stupid nut jobs - Why on earth do you care? If you really don't believe, this particular facet of belief is no more damaging to you than when someone refuses to walk under a ladder or let a black cat cross their path.

Hmph. I don't know why you'd think that. It accurately describes my opinion of "psychics" and their believers.

ETA: I must say. I got three people who don't like me talking about me in a thread. My anti-fan club is doing swell.

Exactly. If JC and the Father only know the hour they're coming back, then it's ridiculous for people to try to predict based on eclipses and how they relate to passages in the Bible.

I figured they were were referring to the Solar eclipse that actually did just happen a few days ago.....

That was more than a few days ago. Totally different window

No, the events we're talking about need to happen within the same window of opportunity or they are separate events. imo

👣

I'm of the opinion that biblical prophecy works on a broader time scale, so the solar eclipse still counts. Let us have our Doom please!

It has nothing to do with Easter. It's falling on Passover. You know...the Christian religion before Jesus made the scene.
The Tetrad is four lunar eclipses in a row that all fall on Jewish holidays. It started in April of last year and ends this November. Has zero to do with Christ.
