Could the government help, with tax money? Probably, but it would be extremely expensive and unproductive for the economy and we'd all complain about them wasting money on such things that could be used to our benefit for the present problems and not future ones.

So you see? Unless you help yourself, no one is going to do it for you.

Yes, yes, I can see how spending our hard earned tax dollars would be much better spent on these cheap and productive items such as these 2014 expenditures.

$856,000 to train three mountain lions to run on a treadmill in order to measure the energy consumption of the cats’ hunting

$4.2 billion lost to improper tax refunds issued to identity thieves.

$1 billion to destroy $16 billion in unneeded purchases of military-grade ammunition.

$100,000 for the Coast Guard to patrol some of the country’s most exclusive real estate to stop uninvited guests from crashing private parties.

Most of us here KNOW the government continues to spend taxpayers’ money with the abandon of a hooker shopping on stolen credit cards. We KNOW we can't rely on nor trust the government. We also KNOW we have to take care of ourselves to the best ability we are able. I for one plan on surviving. If I fail, at least I tried and gave it my best shot. If I make it, I'll have some badass great stories to tell.

Whether we should give it any mind doesn't negate the fact Yellowstone is overdue for its next big eruption.

Overdue means that we should have expected a big eruption by now, this is pure fallacy.

It approximately has a big eruption every 750,000 years let's say give or take 50,000 years. The last big eruption was around 640,000 years ago, so even by the large eruption happening every 700,000 years, we still have another 60,000 before we are DUE the next large one.

For us to truely say that we are overdue,, it would have to be at least 800,000 years since the last big eruption.

So to sum it up, we can say at this moment in time for the next 60,000 years, that we are nearing the due date.

Ok I don't think this counts as doom porn. No date given or key location just a cause. Just wondering if the world is ready for a super eruption does no count in my book. I need my doom pron with a date to so I can mark it in my doom porn calender. Which by the way is looking really empty this year so far.

Cayce’s vision:
When we see noticeable eruptions in the long-quiet volcanoes of Vesuvius or Pelee, then three months later there will be major earthquakes along the southern coast of California that will cause an inundation of the land from the Salt Lake in Utah to the southern portions of Nevada.
