"Impaired judgements"???

With marijuana?

I'm not sure you understand how meticulous someone is when they're "stoned"...
How precise...
How much more creative and productive...
How much more laid back with fellow workers who'd give the sober an aneurysm...

Where do you get you "pot" information?

Internet memes?
Far right rag sheets?

Enlighten me.

Is it impossible that marijuana has rare side effects...?

It is next to impossible. The human body has an internal safety mechanism for this. No cannabinoid receptors in the brain stem. His actions were more like schizophrenia not the minor paranoia sometimes associated with THC.

That DEA interview with the family was probably classic.

DEA: "We know your son was a good kid and we need your help to protect other kids from this evil drug.
There is evidence to show marijuana causes major hallucinations. You would like to help us save the
children wouldn't you? Your good people aren't you?"

Family: "Of course we are!"

DEA to DEA: " Success! Funding is secure, alert the media, we have a story!"

And that my freind is a known truth.

That disease alone often presents itself at that age. And another known fact is SOMETIMES pot can unveil this whereas it may remain hidden for awhile longer without usage.

Here's my opinion and I have experience to back my opinion. First hand experience.

I use to be a stoner. A true stoner! The type that waked and baked and smoked all day, afternoon and night. It's just what I did because I enjoyed it.

I would get stoned at work, at home, I would get stoned anywhere I could get away with it. I was a very functional stoner.

I can say with 100% certainty that for me it's not addictive nor does it cause one to have suicidal tendancies. Quite the opposite actually.

I just quit smoking...I quit because it was causing me to have breathing problems.

I had zero withdrawls (which is a major indicator of addiction), zero issues period.

In fact, I lost 5 lbs because I didn't have the insane munchies I use to get while I smoked.

Okay I am totally jumping to the back of the line so here I go.

Pot is much different now, then it was back when I was younger.

And the only time I actually hurt myself while "indulging"... was eating way too much pie. Stoned plus peach, blackberry apple equals tummy ache.

We should have a poll.
In a life threatening hospital operation then stay over with treatment,
Do you choose

A) the whole staff is stoned the whole time
or
B) Every care giver is sober

Only the potheads would choose A, because they are passionately and emotionally attached to the issue, and most likely will be stoned at the time they take the poll. A few of them may vote B from impaired judgement being more worried where the Cheetos are.

That leaves non stoners to decide.

Anyone who commits suicide is already dealing with demons only they can comprehend...
That's a given...

In this case in particular...

All I can say is that I have an oath with myself, that if it ever gets too much and I pass over willingly...
I'll be having one last indulgence before I do.

Can't speak for others who've contemplated such a demise...
But that's my position at least.

Lol yes let's have the poll...

And add another to the list which most young doctors I met indulge in...

A night prior to operations they get lashed on drink and coca...

Give me the steady hand stoner over the amped up crack head any day.

Otherwise a circumcision could become a sex change!

Edit: Doctor is a rich man's position...
Coke is a rich man's drug...

A lot of doctors (not nearly all of them, but also most I met in Chelsea) don't touch a spliff because they know what smoke inhalation does...

They'll happily indulge in moderated sniff ups!
edit on 26-3-2015 by CharlieSpeirs because: (no reason given)

Further edit: Just give me a good doctor, stoned or not... A good one is all I ask.

Others can decide in your ludicrous poll that doesn't designate between good and bad practitioners and surgeons nor decent and caring nurses as opposed to cold & shrill human in scrubs...

I asked earlier in the thread but, it may have gone unnoticed.

Do you have experience in the subject matter to base your opinions on or, are you basing your opinions on the general notion that marijuana is just bad because that is what you have read or heard?

LoL.

Not where I grew up TP...

Can't speak for your area, but personally my area most of the crackheads started with coke & alcohol.

Most potheads moved onto quitting, but sticking with cigarettes.

Been around a lot of stoners, seen what it does to them, family members and friends.
It consumes them. The only time they are at peace is if they have a sizeable stash to last them quite a while.

That statement is so incorrect on all levels and not based on any known facts.

Unless you talk to the head of the dea or such.

You are suggesting that as an analogy, that sex leads to hooking in all cases. For comparative example of course.

So I assume that is a "NO".

In that case, you have no idea what you are truly talking about. I mean "truly" talking about.

Why are you so hell bent on judging something that you have no true testament for judgement?

You lost any argument you are trying to make and I hope you realize that at some point.

Sure, you saw things. Guess what? I have seen a lot of things. If I haven't experienced them for myself then they are just observations.

Your entitled to your opinions....absolutely! But, don't try to make an argument and win with observations.

Ok, go find a crackhead who inhales the illegal substance that will swear they never smoked pot. Crackhead implies the non needle users.
Of course the catcher is, nobody will ever believe a crackhead.
