Citizen Four (Edward Snowden Biopic) Has an actor in it that I have seen in House of Cards.

I have watched Citizen Four three times now. I put it on to watch with my son tonight.

Here is what I noticed. In the very beginning of the documentary. There is this guy that leads a discussion group amongst "Occupy" members.

Now, this is the first time I noticed it. I don't want to believe it but I must. I am trying to deny ignorance.

The "actor" that supposedly portrays the administrator of this meeting is the same "actor" that plays the geeky computer whiz on House of Cards, season I.

I just wanted to put this out there. It is cause to rethink the whole Snowden deal.

That's interesting and a good find if true.

Although I wouldn't say it is a reason to question the "whole Snowden thing" so much as a reason to question the credibility of this Documentary and/or it's Producer/Director.

Try and get some pictures off line or something. Maybe some names in the credits or something. If it's the same guy and he's in House of Cards and this there has got to be a record of his name linked to both of them that can be verified.

I'll do my best. I wanted to watch that documentary anyway so if I have no other choice I can always just screen capture it and then try verifying it with the guy from Cards who should be easy to get a picture and name.

Might be a little bit, but I'll get it one way or another.

For now, I am going to have to disagree. I have watched all of the episodes for House, and have now watched Citizen Four 3 times.

Although the appearances are similar, I don't think I am wrong.

Because he's pretty well known and if it is the same guy it would be obvious. He's actually one of my favorite characters in Sunny in Phili.

I have a strong feeling that herpdederp is going to be correct. The fact that they were so quick to know exactly who was being pointed to as being the same guy is a good clue.

Obviously a big time nerd!!! (Kidding!! You're cool herpdederp. If you're right, then you're badass too!!)

But just to make sure I'm still going to snag a shot of the person in Citizen Four so there will be no doubt.

I am so willing to be wrong. It was a total buzz kill. I wanted it to be the truth and told in the manner it was. I am not trying to be right. I was just reporting on my observation. That is it.

Although not the same person, Applebaum is worthy of investigative curiosity. An atheist, anarchist, hacker who claims Germany has better internet protection than the US. Wasn't it revealed that Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Canada to name a few, all had their hands in the cookie jar?

I think that they are different people now. Sorry to cause such a fuss. They are very similar in appearance, I would add in my defense.

It wouldn't. It would only be a really bad move on the part of the person making the Doc.

But in this case, this is one conspiracy theory that can be put to rest as "mistaken identity".

They look similar but there is no way in hell they could pull something like that off without anyone noticing. Both of these guys are way too well known.
